The last book I read to completion was the first book of A Game of Thrones. I watched the series and then started reading the books. Currently I'm reading "Every Single Secret" by Emily Carpenter. So far so good!

The last book I read was Fortune's Wheel. It's set in the 1300's, 1100 pgs! We read it for book club. Very good especially if you like historical fiction.

It's been awhile since I sat down with a book--but I think the last one I read was Marathon by Brian Freeman.

I've read about 150 just from the library this year plus about 50 this year that I've picked up from thrift stores and garage sales. (My favorite are vintage quilt and cook books.)This morning I finished Gees Bend: the architecture of the quilt.

ReplyDeleteYou know, I started a couple Audiobooks that I just couldn't get into and returned without finishing. That's so weird for me. I guess the last book I really listened to was a Christopher Moore book that I know You wouldn't like. Right now, though, the kids and I are about to finish a series about Edgar and Allen Poe, the great great great great grand nephews of EA Poe. It's pretty great.
