But if you must do a border, I wouldn't do one of the lighter colors... I think you need something darker to make the eye want to stare at all the action in the quilt - like looking down a well. If you use a light border I think it makes the eye want to look away because everything is too blinding like looking at the sun. But if you are choosing between the border options, I would skip the florals. I love the metallics but I think the scale may be too small or too crowded. So I'd go with the pink polka dots...but I still think you should let the blocks speak (joyfully) for themselves.
