Crossroads Quilt Along - Quilt Top

Yippee, it's the 15th and that means it is time for another Crossroads Quilt Along post !!!    And today is so very exciting because we are finishing up the Quilt Top!!!!  EEEkkk, I just love seeing a quilt top come together and I am just over the moon with how the  Crossroads Quilt Along quilt has come together!!!.

And you will probably have noticed, I still have to add a few borders, but I was so excited about all the blocks together I just couldn't not share ;)     I am happy to say that I did manage to get all my HST's on a roll pieced and cut last weekend, now I just need to tear out the papers and press them.  (And yes, I got bogged down on the tear the papers out part, le sigh.)    But no worries, I will get those borders on soon ;)

But back to the rest of the quilt top because it is just to cute not to see a few more times.   I just love the fun scrappy chain that ties all of those adorable little 8" blocks together.   I really am just thrilled with how adorable it is not that it is all together ;)     It totally keeps making me think of Little House on the Prairie and I just love that about it,

If you sewing along or want to join in on the fun,  you can download the finishing pattern right here and then don't forget to donate the $5.00 for the pattern to the March of Dimes  ;)  This QAL is is coming to a close soon but there is still time to raise funds for premature babies.  It is just incredible to see how much has already been done to help!!

And like always,  Kimberly and Joanna , have made a fabulous You Tube video that walks you through putting the quilt top together step by step.  So if you have never played with HST's on a roll, you are going to learn something new ;)

Be sure to  share all of your Crossroads progress on social media with #crossroadsquiltalong and check out these fabulous bloggers who are quilting along for some Chain Block inspiration :)

  3. I would love to join this QAL but I live in New Zealand and don't want to not donate, may I donate the money to a NZ fund that supports young babies?
