I have been cutting out my 1st curved pieces to make a double wedding ring quilt for my son and his partner so I am hoping it goes together as well as your curved pieces did. You can get a drunkards path die set in many sizes. My 8" companion cube came with the drunkards path dies but the newer set doesn't have it now. Any way you will become addicted to the dies, like I am lol. They also do some really lovely applique dies and you can get embroidery files to go with a lot of them which is fun too. Looking forward to seeing how you get on with the Go cutter and I am glad I found your blog. All the best, Diane xxAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03262952959302011531noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4126317057339121070.post-3698480034129982162018-11-09T00:48:00.681-07:002018-11-09T00:48:00.681-07:00Wow - your daughter nailed those geese! Mine prefers knitting, although she has a great eye for fabric - I spend a fortune if she comes to a quilt shop with me because she adds to my list! I have now realised that is a subtle hint that she'd like another quilt in those colours. <br />I only recently purchased the Accuquilt Go, but it'll be a little while before I add more to the library. I have yet to master curved piecing on a machine - only done it by hand before. You make the curves look so easy!Kerryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00237828174807811725noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4126317057339121070.post-1938415848771890052018-11-08T19:45:07.227-07:002018-11-08T19:45:07.227-07:00Nice to see a bit of a review of this tool, and ho...Nice to see a bit of a review of this tool, and how quickly your daughter is taking to quilting. I taught quilting for many years and when I needed to teach a left-handed student (I'm right handed), I would have them stand (or sit) opposite me, facing me. They would see everything I was doing but in the opposite direction. Right handed students would stand/sit next to me. It seemed to work really well. BTW I have the Big Electric cutter from Accuquilt and I LOVE it!! I buy the dies sparingly due to the cost, but that Cube you are showing looks great! I might have to put that on my Christmas wish list...Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01472870065530315440noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4126317057339121070.post-52738288330599432122018-11-08T13:59:22.891-07:002018-11-08T13:59:22.891-07:00Isn't the Go cutter amazing! If you get the Companion cube that matches up with your cube, you get a Drunkard,s Path die or you can get various sized Drunkard’s Path dies from Accuquilt. I have used mine and really love it. That 2.5” strip die is great for cutting 2.5” squares- you can layer lots of 2.5” strips crosswise on it and then run it through. Looking forward to seeing what else you use it for!!JanetDhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09636455396303811567noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4126317057339121070.post-9623996105971525542018-11-08T07:50:01.182-07:002018-11-08T07:50:01.182-07:00I can see that you are both going to have fun with...I can see that you are both going to have fun with this toy.Needled Momhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07749314475716010490noreply@blogger.com
