Whole Cloth Quilting

I am hoping to get to basting this today.  I am excited to try whole cloth quilting for the first time.  I don't have anything fancy planned, just straight lines, but there is something awfully fun about the idea of quilting on such a clean surface.



Then, once I get it all quilted it will be time to play with these.  So fun!!!

    I totally agree!! I am working on a crib sized whole cloth right now, too, with some fancy stitches my Janome offers, and it is a very relaxing and laid back project. It feels really good!

    Have fun! I think I'd be wanting to try some exotic stitches and FMQ just because everyone could see it. Then again, maybe not ;o)

    I loved making my first whole cloth quilt last year. The simplicity of the quilt is just so beautiful!

    I've been thinking about doing a whole-cloth quilt for our bed for some time now. I have not been brave enough to do it yet. Can't wait to see how yours turns out!
