    I've been reading a really good book by Priscilla Shirer called Fervent. She wrote it about the same time she was working in the movie, War Room...which was an amazing movie. Loved it!

  29. My other go to books, besides all my quilting books, are Fablehaven by Brandon Mull. I love his fantasy books, he pulls you right into the story. My other books are anything written by Danielle Steel! She is awesome with her romance stories!

I can highly recommend: the mysterious Benedict society, the sweetness at the bottom of the pie, and phantom tollbooth. Oh, and the narnia books and Gary Paulsen (read alouds).

  56. Right now I am reading, "The Happiness Dare" by Jennifer Dukes Lee. It is about the difference between joy and happiness. And finding your sweet spot of happiness and then maximizing it. And what the 4 different types of sweet spots are and how to identify them in yourself and others. An excellent read.

  62. I'm reading a book by Louise Penny. She is such a great writer with how she says things but also in keeping me surprised by the events in each story. If you decide to read her books, start with the first one as the characters develop as the books go on. I can't believe I have to wait another year for the next one.

    I'm reading -- for the FOURTH time(!) -- Love, Life and Elephants - the biography of Dr. Dame Daphne Sheldrick, who started the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust who raise orphaned elephant babies, as well as any orphaned animals. I don't read, much less biographies, but I can' put this one down!
