ReplyDeleteI ordered Honey Crisp from the Bountiful Basket last year and my husband had never heard of them, but after he tasted them he was hooked! Those are our favorites. How had he never heard of them? I have no idea.

ReplyDeleteHow fun! We love apples! Our very favorite to eat are Gala's. Our favorite for anything cooked are Braeburns--which are hard to come by as they don't keep well, but I don't think I lived until I ate a Braeburn Apple Pie (my husband makes the best!).

I have no idea what they are but we have 8 different trees and there's one that is so sweet we have to fight the wasps for them and there's a terrific yellow one that makes the best pies; reminds me of a yellow delicious and just as big. We will have no apples this year though as all the blossoms froze over Mother's Day weekend. sad face
