A few months back I was asked by the lovely ladies at the Moda Bake Shop if I could send some of my Moda Bake Shop quilts to them to use in a booth at an exibit in South Africa!!! I was super excited to help, I mean how cool is it that my quilts would be displayed in South Africa!! So I boxed some up and sent them on their way.
Now Fast-Forward a few months, a wonderful exibit, and an African airline labor strike (that caused a wee bit of stress) , to me finding a big box dropped on my doorstep. I opened it to find a massive pillow case and a cute bag from Moda :)
The pillowcase had my 3 quilts tucked neatly inside and the bag was filled with all kinds of goodies, including 3 charm packs from upcoming lines (squeal). I tell you, those Moda ladies are so sweet!!!
So now I can say these three quilts are International!!! It makes me want to make up a little passport for them so I can keep track of where they have been. Silly, I know, but cool none the less :)
Cool! What are the two packaged things that say Moda and have the different colored sewing machines? I want that as fabric!

ReplyDeleteGreat way to share your quilts and Moda is so wonderful with everything they do. I just love the staff and the fabric. I got to see all the new lines coming out at market and they are wonderful.HAPPY QUILTING

ReplyDeleteSo happy you got your quilts back and then some. I think you should add a passport-ish type label to the quilts. That way, for years to come people will know of their world travels
