Wonderful sunny warm, not too hot, not too cold day where I live. Spring flowers everywhere, including the dandelions, but today I don't mind their bright sunny faces. Just finished up a Kimberly Jolly Bar throw quilt with some fall fabrics that have been hanging around forever. Looks good and I am planning to donate it to our local seniors residence at Thanksgiving as a prize draw for those that live there.

ReplyDeleteI plan on finishing a quilt UFO that has been hanging around for a long time. Just have one more strip about 8" x 96" to quilt, then the binding. What is so fine is that it is not hot here, so wrestling the top and doing the binding won't be very troublesome!

It turned out So Fine today, because after a horrible past several nights, my baby "slept in" and his fever finally broke. I'm hopeful to get some sleep tonight (he's already woken up once already).

My day is so fine because I am up early, enjoying company with my husband and waiting for my son to wake up. I love being home with my family.
ReplyDeleteMy 95 year old mostly deaf and blind grandfather used to wake each morning at 4 AM declaring at the top of his lungs "O Thank the Lord I am alive. What shall I learn, who shall I meet today. Isn't it a grand day?" I try to remember that each and everyday.
