ReplyDeleteThe evening, after work. There's no guilt about not doing something like there is on the weekend, when I should be grocery shopping or cleaning or going outside. The evenings, by the time I get home and cook/eat/clean up doing dinner are a lost cause for productivity and perfect for quilting. Although I end up going to bed a lot later than anticipated!

When I'm at home, I love to hand-piece in front on the TV in the evening. I'll watch a good movie, or a bunch of programs I've recorded, the news, or a presidential debate! If I'm on a retreat, with others, I sew on my Bernina, and then I prefer the afternoon and early evening, but basically all day. I don't want to waste any time.
