In middle school, it my favorite subject was what they called Home Economics. We learned cooking, home time management, child care, and sewing. Nothing I made fit, but I loved sewing things. Quilts are so much easier. Lol.

ReplyDeleteWhat seems like millions of years ago, it was home economics. I remember making an outfit and hair dodad for a fashion show and making a very long snake that was stuffed with scraps of fabric I think for a gift. That thing was heavy to carry home! Memories that crop up! Enjoy your blog!

ReplyDeleteWe use to put on little skits after recess. We had puppets and all sorts of things. Wish school was still like this today. Really pushed our creativity .
