I actually wanted to finish it to give as a Christmas gift, but that didn't work out. Now that the holidays are over I should be able to get it done quickly.

ReplyDeleteI bought my daughter a sewing machine for Christmas and began teaching her how to cut and piece a scrappy quilt with some precuts she originally picked for me to make her something. It was fun to see how proud she was when the quilt top began to come together from fabric pieces to her beautiful masterpiece! Now I would like to teach her how to quilt it before going home after the 1st of the year.
