And on to today's
Today's Terrific Tuesday Giveaway is being sponsored by Thousands of Bolts, a brand new sponsor here at Happy Quilting!!! I asked Riley to send me a little intro to her shop so I could share it with all of you ;) So here's all about Thousands of Bolts . . .
Thousands of Bolts is an online quilting fabric shop based out of Youngstown, Ohio. It boasts over 8000 quality quilters cottons, flannels, and batiks as well as the worlds largest online selection of wide quilt backs. They have unbelievably low prices and incredible quality and have many sales and specials throughout the year!!!
Thousands of Bolts also has an awesome tool called the Quilters' Toolbox where you can take any present patterns and insert the fabrics that you have chosen to get a preview of how your fabrics will look in the pattern. Just perfect!!!
Thousands of Bolts is the perfect name for this shop!!! It is so great to be able to shop through so many amazing fabrics and I love how easy it is to shop by color!!! How fun to make your own custom bundles ;) And Thousands of Bolts has an incredible Color Matcher Tool, that allows you to click on a color of your chosen fabric and find other fabrics with that same color. How awesome is that!!!! Making custom bundles has never been so fun and easy :) Of course, if you prefer, you can still shop by manufacturer or shop by theme, I just like color the best :)
And speaking of Manufactures, Thousands of Bolts carries a wide variety of manufacturers fabrics, including those we all know and love, and a few that were new to me, but have such great fabrics!!! They also carry a huge variety of Solids from most of these manufactures, including all of the Bella Solids, my personal favorite ;) And the Color Matching and Quilters Toolbox make it easy to match your solids to your prints :)
And on of my favorite things about Thousands of Bolts is that you can shop for individual Fat Quarters!!! A majority of their fabrics can be bought as Yardage or as Fat Quarters, allowing you to create your own amazing Fat Quarter Bundles, how fun is that!!!! And again, the color matching tool lets you pick a favorite print, and then find other prints that match it perfectly. So great!!!! Thousands of Bolts also carries other Pre-Cuts including Fat Packs (pre-made Fat Quarter Bundles) and Gem Strips ( jelly rolls) like this gorgeous Garden Delights II Strip Role that we will be giving away today (see bottom of post :).
Thousands of Bolts truly does have incredible prices that will have you super excited!!! But they also have to make room for new items and that means you will also find absolutely incredible bargains shopping in the Thousands of Bolts Sale Section!!! And right now, there is quite a lot of Holiday fabrics to be found in the Sale Section, another of my favorites ;)
Thousands of Bolts knows that you have lots of choices in purchasing your quality quilting fabrics and they are striving to provide you with an amazing array of choices at incredibly affordable prices. As well as offering you the tools to mix and match your fabrics with confidence!! You are sure to have a wonderful experience shopping at Thousands of Bolts

Oy..perhaps 50 bolts?
ReplyDeleteBig fan of Thousands of Bolts, many quilt backings and end cuts have come from their store. Will follow them on Instagram.
ReplyDeleteI think I am underestimating with an answer of 80.

ReplyDeleteMaybe 10 ? Thanks for sharing Melissa+'Thousands of Bolts'!
ReplyDeleteNo idea and it's probably better that way so I don't feel guilty getting more 😂
ReplyDeleteI follow Thousands of Bolts on Facebook
ReplyDeleteI'm pretty sure I have 10 bolts or less, if a bolt is 12 yards.
ReplyDeleteI visited the shop and created an account, just so I don't forget about them when I next need to buy fabric.
ReplyDeleteI have no bolts, but plenty of pieces, and some yardage... I have no idea how to estimate it! LOL!
ReplyDeleteI'm following them on FB and IG!
ReplyDeleteBolts?! No idea. So there's usually about 20-25 yards on a bolt....um maybe 40? I'm probably way off. Ha. Thanks for the giveaway.
ReplyDeleteOh, goodness! I think probably 10 bolts, but may be closer to 15. It's hard to calculate with all the precuts and scraps I have!
ReplyDeleteSandy A
I liked Thousands of Bolts on Facebook. I have bought from them before and the experience was great! I love the many fabrics they offer and that they have them grouped by color!
ReplyDeleteSandy A
I like their Banyan Colorful Ombre Collection
ReplyDeleteOh goodness, I have only been quilting for about a year so I'm quickly working on my stash. I just went to TOB's site and I think I'm going to like it. I am making a purple quilt for my granddaughter and have been stock-piling various purple prints. TOB makes it easy to peruse colorways.
ReplyDeleteI am following them on FB and IG now.
ReplyDeleteI only have scraps, very small pieces, so it's really hard to tell, maybe 2?
ReplyDeleteHard to know I have a huge amount of fat quarters! Not too much yardage.... Maybe I need to change that!
ReplyDeleteI have no idea how many bolts! It’s all cut up! . Can’t wait to check out this store.
ReplyDeleteAdd stash to 3 full bolts of batiks=75, time to do some stitches!
ReplyDeleteI follow Thousands of bolts on Instagram also.
ReplyDeleteI'm a scrappy quilter so a lot of my fabric is in bins & is in small pieces. I will mentally glue those pieces together & estimate - about 10 bolts with the whole pieces & the little bits. (I also have 4 cabinets full of yardage.)
ReplyDeleteAssuming the average bolt size is 15 yards, I probably have about 5 full bolts of fabric in my stash, including backings for quilts in progress and fabric cut for projects that I just haven't had time to work on. I love the "fat packs" precuts at Thousands of Bolts. It's a great way to build variety in your stash. Sandy at sewhigh.blogspot.com
ReplyDeleteI have been following thousands of bolts for a couple of years. Get their emails which are very tempting. Also follow on facebook.
ReplyDeleteWOW.... I am drooling here.
ReplyDeleteI would imagine I have about 20 bolts of fabric in my stash. Not very much :-P but some of it is already boxed up and ready to donate to the local sewing school.
Happy New Year and thanks for this give away
I am now following Thousands of Bolts all over town. Thank you
ReplyDeleteI have no idea how many bolts of fabric all my stash would add up to, but I'd be afraid to find out!!!
ReplyDeleteI already get e-mail newsletters from Thousands of Bolts
ReplyDeleteI can't count that high!!! A LOT..... But I'd still love to win this roll!
ReplyDeletejulie.mirdoch@shaw.ca
I have been quilting for less than a year, and I am very frugal about my purchases. In fact the only full size quilt I have completed, I inherited the squares, I just had to make the sashing, assemble, and have quilted. I've only made a couple small projects. so my stash is very small compared to an experienced quilter. I would say I have less than a bolt.
ReplyDeleteThousands of bolts website was new to me, but their physical location is less than 5 miles from my house. And I never knew they existed! Unfortunately, they do not have a storefront, it is online only. But I just love how you can shop by color hue.
ReplyDeleteI follow thousands of bolts on IG
ReplyDeletejulie.mirdoch@shaw.ca
I have more fabric than I could count. Bolts would have to be at least 100.
ReplyDeleteMy stash is probably pretty low compared to most people. I might be pushing toward 50-60 full yards, but I do have bins of scraps and smaller pieces. People have given me those to use for charity projects like drawstring bags.
ReplyDeleteI followed Thousands of Bolts on Instagram.
ReplyDeleteFollowing TOB on FB and IG.
ReplyDeleteBeing a beginner, I would say that I only have - at most - 3 bolts worth. Thanks. deanbren87@gmail.com
ReplyDeleteI follow Thousands of bolts on facebook and instagram. deanbren87@gmail.com
ReplyDeleteWell, my stash is about 10 bolts and I just followed @thousandsofbolts on Instagram.
ReplyDeleteMy "stash" is mostly fat 1/4"s as I do a lot of landscape quilts. I have visited Thousands of Bolts many times.
ReplyDeleteI probably have quite a few bolts in my stash - but hey, who's counting lol....
ReplyDeleteTOB web site is great with the choices listed by color. They have a huge selection of holiday prints too - and at great prices
ReplyDeleteI have no clue - maybe 100?
ReplyDeleteIf I added up all my fat quarters and yardage, I'm guessing I would have about 10 bolts of fabric. Thanks for this beautiful giveaway. Those florals are awesome!
ReplyDeleteI do not own any bolts - never buy such large quantities.
ReplyDeleteI visited their site and saw lots of Kim Diehl fabric on sale!I'm definitely going shopping now!
ReplyDeleteI follow Thousands of Bolt on facebook.
ReplyDeleteI have never bought a whole bolt of fabric, but if added all together, maybe I have 10 bolts worth - ?
ReplyDeleteI'm following Thousands of bolts on FB! trotskyn@att.net
ReplyDeleteI have no set bolts, but my fabric stash probably adds up to over 500 bolts (rough guesstimate!) trotskyn@att.net
ReplyDeleteI follow Thousands of Bolts on Facebook.
ReplyDeleteThousands of Bolts is one of my FAVORITE places! I look for short cuts and "fat packs". Great prices. And a fun "color finder" to play with! Congrats!
ReplyDeleteFollowing Thousands of Bolts. I used to get emails from them but somehow got unsubscribed. So glad to get this reminder!
ReplyDeleteOMG.....I stopped counting at 200 but I suspect it is closer to 300.
ReplyDeleteI hate to think about how many bolts. Maybe 125???
ReplyDeleteI try not to think about how many bolts of fabric I have--I have a whole storage unit! I bet it's at least 400 bolts...
ReplyDeleteIf 40 yards per bolt is the standard, then I easily have 20 to 30 bolts. Oh, my!!!
ReplyDeleteFollowing Thousands of Bolts on Instagram--not entirely new to me but get reacquainted!
ReplyDeleteI love 1000 of bolts. Their color match tool is always so helpful. I follow them on IG and am a frequent shopper of theirs.
ReplyDeleteHaha! How many bolts? How about how many boxes?!!! One row of apple boxes from the front of a standard garage to the back,(and those are stacked about 5 deep), plus one wall in a 9x10 bedroom, plus two Ikea wall units also full. And a few other stray boxes in odd spots in the garage and on the floor of said 9x10 room. Do I need more fabric? :D
ReplyDeleteWow! The number of wide backings is tremendous. I'll be shopping Thousands of Bolts for my next backing fabric.
ReplyDeleteIf a bolt has 10 yds, I'll bet I have 30 or 40.
ReplyDeleteJust followed thousands of bolts on IG @lolly2430. Did know about this company before.
ReplyDeleteI have about seven bolts
ReplyDeleteIf I added all the square inches of scraps and fat quarters and pieces that are less than a yard I might have 15 bolts. In recent years I seldom buy a yard or more except for backing or a specific project.
ReplyDeleteFollowing them on instagram now. I like the feature on their site "see all fabrics in this collection". It helps in building fabrics for a quilt.
ReplyDeleteI'm going with about five bolts of individual fabrics, if there's maybe 8 yards on each. If I had to wrap all my yardage onto bolts, uhm, five wouldn't do it, lol. Thanks for hosting this give away.
ReplyDeleteHow many bolts do I have in my fabric stash? Oh my, well, I am going to guess around
ReplyDelete11-12 bolts. Ohh, I think I need to start using these fabrics up.

My best ballpark estimation is between 13 and 15 bolts of fabric....did I really want to know that???
ReplyDeleteI follow Thousands of Bolts on IG
ReplyDeleteWhole bolts?15-20. Enough yardage to put back on the bolt? 100? Maybe. I have quite a bit of fabric. But I'd sure hate to run out so I have to buy a little more. Thanks
ReplyDeleteI would say 25 here. But in storage I have probably another 50. So, why is it I never have the right fabric and I need to purchase more.? Could this be considered an addiction?
ReplyDeleteI can't believe how many bolts of fabric some of you have! I have less than 1 bolt. I must work harder to catch up
ReplyDeleteLike the looks of Thousands of Bolts website. Good prices pretty nice selection. Thanks
ReplyDelete2ish bolts? Most of my stash are fat quarters and i don't have much storage space so i gotta keep it in check.
ReplyDeleteI usually have fat quarters or half meters. But I think estimated to bolt, it's about 10.
ReplyDeleteI follow Thousands of Bolts on Instagram.
ReplyDeleteI would guess that I have at least 100 bolts worth of fabric.
ReplyDeleteBetween yardage, fat quarters, and half yard pieces of fabric, we easily have a 100 bolts! We are moving so having to pack it all, makes me shudder. LOL Yes, we have a lot ...
ReplyDeleteI love Thousands of Bolts!! I signed for their newsletter and loved that I can head to the color I want and not be distracted ... I looked through blues and am happy
ReplyDeleteI follow Thousands of Bolts on FB!
ReplyDeleteI would guess around 20 bolts all together!
ReplyDeleteWell, no bolts, maybe added together a few. Well ok, maybe a lot. Ok, waaaay too much!
ReplyDeleteI follow thousand of bolts on Facebook and instagram
ReplyDeleteI think a bolt has a lot of fabric on it.... maybe three bolts? tks!
ReplyDeletei love the creams and whites - all organized together. I need low volume!
ReplyDelete20 currently
ReplyDeleteI might have 20- 30 bolts; no wat to tell.
ReplyDeleteI follow 1000s of Bolts on FB, and just to let you know that they are one of my favorite stores!
ReplyDeleteSince I'm a fairly new quilter, probably 7 or 8 bolts.
ReplyDeleteIam following 1000's of Bolts on facebook
ReplyDeleteHow are we supposed to estimate our bolts??? Get's me thinking though:) I have a healthy stash!
ReplyDeleteThanks for introducing me to thousands of bolts. I am in the market for a wide back and found their great selection while looking around the site.
ReplyDeleteI have no clue... if a bolt is 12 yards, I’m going to guess that I might have two!
ReplyDeleteI’ve never heard of Thousand Bolts, but I am amazed with all the ways that I can select fabric.... incredible! I will definitely follow them on FB, IG, and email.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful fabric...I need to check out Thousands of Bolts...I'm embarrassed to say that I would estimate that I have easily 50 bolts of fabric...more than I'll ever be able to use, but I do love to donate for charity quilts...thanks for the giveaway!
ReplyDeleteI'm thinking I have about 18 and that's being conservative!
ReplyDeleteMaybe 75? Don't know how to estimate!

As a new quilter, I've never bought a bolt of fabric before, but looking at this website inspires me for sure!!!
ReplyDeleteI don't have FB or instagram, but I'm definitely telling my friends about this website find - they do have social media lol!
ReplyDeleteI don't have any actual bolts...I'm more scrappy :)
ReplyDeleteBiggest pieces I have are probably the sheets I pick up thrifting.

Most of my fabric is in small amounts. I have 2 bolts of fabric: one light neutral and one dark neutral. -- soparkaveataoldotcom
ReplyDeleteAck, I don't have bolts, I have totes, and I would guess I have about5-6 large totes worth of fabric, but over started making progress on clearing out some of my toy box full of knits by making shirts for myself and my girls using tutorials from over at its always Autumn.
ReplyDeleteI follow their Instagram!
ReplyDeleteI tried the Fabric Finder on the Thousands of Bolts website -- what a helpful tool!
ReplyDeleteI follow TOB on IG. :)
ReplyDeleteHmmm...well, there's about 12-15 yards of fabric on a bolt. So if I guesstimate all my precuts and yardage, I'd say around 3-4 bolts.
ReplyDeleteI follow thousands of books on ig
ReplyDeleteBolts darn Auto correct
DeleteI'm guessing around 10 bolts maybe....
ReplyDeleteI have zero full bolts of fabric in my stash, but if I had to add them all together onto bolts, I'd guess maybe 15? Who knows? Welcome Thousands of Bolts!

I visited the shop and found one item I may need to buy soon:
ReplyDeleteQuilter's Choice
Floral Fantasy WIDE...perfect for backing for an upcoming project!

ReplyDeleteI have about 20 bolts! Thank you, Susan
ReplyDeleteI follow Thousands of Bolts on Facebook & Instagram! Thank you, Susan
ReplyDeleteI would say less than 20. I have a lot of fat quarters and other precuts, so it probably is less yardage than it looks like.
ReplyDeleteI think it's better I don't know how many.
ReplyDeleteI love Thousands of Bolts. Buy from them all the time. Wonderful service. Great tone on tones and solids as well as batiks. Follow on FB and IG, E-mail.
ReplyDeleteAll together I guess I have about 25 bolts of fabric.
ReplyDeleteI follow Thousands of Bolts on IG.
ReplyDeleteMy stash is pretty small, so about 1 or 2 bolts.
ReplyDeleteI started following Thousands of Bolts on Instagram.
ReplyDelete75?
ReplyDeleteThousands of Bolts sounds wonderful - especially the matching up for certain print fabrics. That is a real plus!
ReplyDeleteNo bolts of fabric in my sewing room, but if I added up all my backing fabrics, it might easily come to 6 bolts or so :)!
ReplyDeleteIf I add up all of the fabric that I have in my stash, I might have one, maybe two bolts all together. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteI love their huge selection of Christmas fabrics, and at great prices too! Thanks!
ReplyDeleteI only have 3 bolts of fabric. Most of my fabric is in smaller pieces.

ReplyDeleteI don't even want to think about how many I have! We'll leave it at lots!!!
ReplyDeleteThis is the first I'm learning about Thousands of Bolts and now follow them on instagram-thank you!
ReplyDeleteIf I added all my stash together to estimate it as bolts … I would guess at least 225 bolts. I use at least 100 yards of fabric at year and it doesn't even make a dent! Thousand of Bolts is only an hour away from me! How did I not know they existed?
ReplyDeleteOh my....I don't know how much fabric is on a bolt - and I have fabric stashed around in some interesting places - So I will make a wild guess at 12 bolts.
ReplyDeleteI love their selection of quilt backing fabrics. A particular favorite is Quilter's Choice
ReplyDeleteFloral Fantasy WIDE SKU: ZBLUE217
I have no idea, a rough guesstimate would be 20. I am trying to use some of the yardage up this year. Wish me luck.

ReplyDeleteI have just three full bolts but lots of yardage
ReplyDeleteI am glad you share this great resource! I am now following them on facebook
ReplyDeleteI have followed Thousand Bolts by their newsletter for a long time, and now I follow them on Facebook!!
ReplyDeleteI have probably around 50 bolts of fabric. It just seems to follow me home!!
ReplyDeleteA ton of bolts, maybe 300!
ReplyDeleteFollowing thousands of bolts on IG
ReplyDeleteI try really hard to keep the bolt stash down--not by curbing my buying so much as by USING it! I get so excited when I empty one. My sister likes to tell me I might be the only person that gets excited about running out of a fabric; she says I have it all wrong! But doesn't that just mean I can buy another one? My best guess is I have about 25-30. Bolt sales are my fav!
ReplyDeleteI visited their site and signed up. My fav items would be all the creams and whites. This might be my new go-to for background fabrics which is usu what I'm looking for in large amounts.
ReplyDeleteI'd say I have about 15 bolts, but I honestly have no idea!
ReplyDeleteI'm following on IG!!
ReplyDeleteI might say I have about 20 bolts of fabric in the stash :)
ReplyDeleteI have a very small fabric stash probably 2 to 3 bolts.
ReplyDeleteI visited the Shop and really like the Quilter's Toolbox tool. But hey, who doesn't like to browse through the Pre-cuts?
ReplyDeleteI think I have less than 10 bolts as most of my fabric is precuts, and I used up a lot of stash in 2019.
ReplyDeleteWow, thousands of bolts has TONS of backing fabrics. I will have to check there next time I need one!
ReplyDeleteFollowing them on instagram.
ReplyDeleteWell, I don't have thousands of bolts, but I would guess I have at least 30 bolts worth. Shhh!
ReplyDeleteI follow Thousands of Bolts. One of the first places I look for fabric
ReplyDeleteWell, it depends on what your definition of a bolt is. If you mean a full bolt of about 15 yards, and I put all my stash together...
ReplyDeleteI would estimate about 10-12
Oh, gosh....I am guessing that I have about 15 bolts if I add all of my stash
ReplyDeleteWow.... another great sponsor... I've been looking at Thousands of Bolts' shades of red since I'd like to make a quilt for Valentine's Day
ReplyDeleteI probably only have about 4 bolts worth of fabric. Thanks for the giveaway!
ReplyDeleteI am now following Bolts of Fabric on Instagram. :-)
ReplyDeleteMy fabric collection is not large, so I probably have 3 bolts of fabric.
ReplyDeleteI probably have less than 5 bolts.
ReplyDeleteAnd I follow Bolts on both FB and Instagram.
ReplyDeleteProbably around 10 bolts.
ReplyDeleteI receive Thousands of Bolts emails and love the fantastic variety of fabric they carry.
ReplyDeleteI probably have 5 bolts, because I am trying to use up all this fabric !
ReplyDeleteI have probably 15-20 bolts IF you added everything I have in my stash.
ReplyDeleteDepends on the size of bolts. Back many moons ago bolts had like 25 yards on them. Some today only have 8 or so. I don't know what I have but it is way to much for this lifetime but that is okay with me. ;)
ReplyDeleteI am a relatively new quilter and am not good at multitasking, so I probably have only 1 or 2 bolts of fabric total. (How much is on a bolt?)
ReplyDeleteIf you added up all of my stash, maybe 5 bolts worth. Not too much.
ReplyDeleteI follow Thousands of Bolts on Facebook.
ReplyDeleteoh goodness.. I am not sure. more than 20 I would think.
ReplyDeleteI visited thousands o Bolts and love the Moda Marble Swirls
ReplyDeleteI honestly have no idea about how much fabric I have.

ReplyDeleteI'm kind of afraid to guess how much fabric I have right now. Way too much for sure!
ReplyDeleteI follow Thousands of Bolts by email and instagram.
ReplyDeleteI have 35 bolts of fabric ON THE BOLT!!! Along with that I probably have at least another 50 bolts of fabric in my carefully curated collection of cotton!!
ReplyDeleteI like Thousands of Bolts on Facebook and follow them on Instagram!!
ReplyDeleteNot too much, probably about 4 to 5 bolts total.
ReplyDeleteI like the Robert Kaufman Elemental Batiks on their website.
ReplyDeleteMaybe 10 bolts all in all!
ReplyDelete50??? cotten.gloria@gmail.com

ReplyDeleteI am guessing, but about 50 bolts.
ReplyDeleteIf a bolt is 15 yards, then I have a score or two...at least.
ReplyDeleteI follow Thousands of Bolts on IG. They have such a great selection and I'm with you, I love their FQ policy!
ReplyDeleteI have more bolts than I have fingers.
