    I love to ride the swells, in about 4 feet of water. Jumping up when the swells come and letting it set you back down on the sandy bottom.

    My favorite thing to do at the beach is go out very early and watch the sunrise over the water. I always take a cup of coffee with me.

    I like to gather sea shells at the beach :) I live in a California coastal city, so there aren't many here, the gulf coast is a fabulous gathering spot, though!

    We used to take our kids to Ocean City,MD every summer. I love the smell of salt air, the sound of the waves. It was always my dream to retire on ocean front property. I retired to NC forests. Oh well God takes us where he wants us. I miss those sounds and smells.

    I bought a small 1963 mobile home at a fishing lake 3 years ago. I haven't really been able to use it due to elderly parents taking a downward turn in their health. The beachy fabrics just make me happy to look at.

    I love the way Thousands of Bolts has the first page broken down by fabric colors, pre cuts, fat quarters, etc. It makes it so much easier to find exactly what you're looking for without taking a lot of time going through everything (if you're in a hurry). Great site! Deb E mdenders@msn.com
