ReplyDeleteMine was a text message of love and support for my son-in-law's mother who lost her husband on December 6. We live half a world apart; I don't speak Turkish, and she doesn't speak English, so we use a translation app when we communicate. It's never word-for-word, but the intentions are always understood.

ReplyDeleteMy love note went to my college aged grandson who after months of being very careful came down with Covid two days before Christmas. His illness caused a change in two extended families plans for the holiday, which made him feel super bad...and he spent most of his winter break isolated in his room at home. He needed some love!

I'd love to win for her.

ReplyDeleteThat's an easy question -- my husband. We've been married nearly 48 years now, and we used to write each other little love notes every day when we were newlyweds. Then when my husband would leave on his 5 day trips (about every 4-5 weeks) he'd leave me a little love note. Thanks for the question...it brought back happy memories. Now that we're retired, I guess every day is a love note to each other! Deb E mdenders@msn.com
