It's officially one week away from the release date of my new book, Fast & Fun Lap Quilts!!! And that means it is almost time to start the Fast & Fun Lap Quilts Book Tour with all kinds of Quilting Eye Candy and lots of Layer Cake Giveaways!!! And I attempted a video, I really have no idea what I am doing, but it gives you an idea of all the quilty goodness in this Fast & Fun Lap Quilts Book :)
I just can't wait to share all of the quilts from Fast & Fun Lap Quilts with you. And I am super excited to have lots of Quilty Friends that will be sharing their quilts from Fast & Fun Lap Quilts as well. Isn't it just so fun how 1 Layer Cake and some background fabric can make so many amazing quilts!!!
Aurora Diamond Dash Dutch DaysI was super lucky to teach one of the quilts from Fast & Fun Lap Quilts at Garden of Quilts last week. We had such a fun time sewing up blocks from the Aurora Quilt and I was just thrilled with all of the amazing progress everyone made!!! Aren't their blocks just stunning!!! And there is even a sneak peek of a new version of Aurora there in the background. (Needed a sample for class as my quilts from Fast & Fun Lap Quilts are currently in transit ;)
And this class brings me to one of the things that I am most excited about for Fast & Fun Lap Quilts!!! I know we are not all able to attend classes due to distance, so when writting this book, I tried to give you all of the hints and tips and tricks that I would share if you were in my class. The book is just full of these happy little highlighted boxes that share lots of quilty goodness so that making these quilts truly is Fun and also Fast!!!
Fast & Fun Lap Quilts releases October 3, so there is only one week left to wait for them to be in your local quilt shops and for the Book Tour to Begin!!! I am so super excited for that!!! But I actually got some advanced copies and have listed them in my Etsy Shop, so you can get them pre-release as well. Oh, and I know, shipping cost stink, so I gave you a little discount on the price of the book :)
Thanks for popping in today!!
I hope you all have a very Happy Quilting Day!!!
You have created another fantastic quilt book. My pre-release copy of Fast & Fun Lap Quilts arrived a few weeks ago. Using Batiks, I started Keystone Corners. Life interrupted my progress, however, I will be finishing it soon.
ReplyDeleteEach pattern is better that the previous one. Oh so many great patterns to create. The directions are clearly written and ready for any level of quilter to use.
Thank you for always inspiring my quilting.
