Oh my goodness, that is a lot of ing's, but there is just so much going on!!! I can't begin to tell you how much fun I am having with the release of Irish Chain Quilts.   It is just amazing.  This was such a hard secret to keep which makes being able to share Irish Chain Quilts with you all all the more wonderful!!!  And I am just tickled pink with the happy response it is getting.   So let me share some of the Going's on with Irish Chain Quilts!!!

First Teaching!!  I will be teaching at the Panguitch Quilt Walk next weekend and will be doing 2 classes from Irish Chain Quilts, End of the Rainbow and Daisy Chain.   I am so excited for these classes, we are going to have so much fun!!!  And if you are in the area, I am also super excited to be doing a Trunk Show on Saturday the 13th with all of my Irish Chain Quilts ;)   It is my first trunk show ever and I a so totally totally excited!!!

Third Talking!!  Just in case you missed the live broadcast, and you want to hear me chat with Pat Sloan about Irish Chain Quilts, you can catch out little broadcast by clicking over to here and selecting the June 1st date :)  That was so much fun, thank you again Pat for having me!!!

Fourth Hoping!!!   Did you see the announcement on Monday???  The Irish Chain Quilts Blog Hop is coming and it is going to be so much fun!!!!   Lots and lots of Irish Chain Quilts inspiration, wonderful bloggers sharing their takes on the design, and Charity Quilt, and of course, lots of fun giveaways!!!  Be sure to pop in Monday morning, the 8th of June for the start of it all!!!

And Finally Making!!!!  And I can't tell you how excited I am to share this :)  Karee sent me this picture this morning of the "Great Lakes Pearls" quilt top she made as a grad quilt for a special Michigan girl using the String Of Pearls pattern from Irish Chain Quilts!!!   Isn't it just fantastic!!! I mentioned at market that I totally wanted to make this quilt in the reverse with the white as the chain, and now I know what it will look like!!  So awesome!!! Thank you so much Karee for sharing it with me ;)  This is the first Irish Chain Quilts share and it just warms my heart!!!!

Which reminds me, when you are making be sure sure to add the #irishchainquilts in your social media so I can find your awesome projects!!!   I can't wait to see what you create with Irish Chain Quilts!!!

And that is it for today.  Be sure to pop back in tomorrow for another little bit of Irish Chain fun . . . think tutorial ;)

  1. This twin sized String of Pearls used only 4.25 yds of Kona Riviera and I made it in just over a day (I am a "press seams open" kind of girl and you know what that does to pressing time.) This pattern is so easy! Can hardly wait to make another treasure from Melissa's Irish Chain Quilts book.
