$5 Pattern of the Month - Blossoming Stars!!!

Its a new Month and a new $5 Pattern of the Month Feature here at Happy Quilting!!!  Each month, I choose one Happy Quilting Pattern that will be just $5.00  all month in my Etsy Shop ;)    And November is Blossoming Stars!!!

The  Blossoming Stars Pattern can be found in my Etsy Shop in both a Paper version as well as a PDF version and both versions will be marked down to $5.00 for the month of November.   And yes, this is a quilt that uses curves, so I highly recommend picking up a set of Modified Drunkards Path Templates while you are at the shop to cut out the curved pieces.  There is a paper template in the pattern but the acrylic templates are just so nice :)   And these are the same templates used for all of my curved patterns, so if you already have the templates from another curved pattern you are all set!!

Blossoming Stars is an intermediate skill level pattern with 5 size options and has options and is Fat Quarter Friendly.    The quilt is made with a large flower block and a secondary interlocking chain.    The pattern teaches you an awesome 3 pin Curved technique.

Blossoming Stars is a super versatile design.   Just pick a Fat Quarter Bundle, an accent fabric, and you are good to go!!!   And you can always pick an extra fabric for the Flower Centers as shown in this design. It is a fun way to add an extra pop to the pattern.

And as always, you can always choose to do a dark background as well!!!   In this version, I used beauitful Low Volume Fat Quarters (because they are always stacking up in my quilt room) and then used the same white for both the chain and the center stars in the block.   Just another fun variation.   And I just love how the low volumes just pop on that dark grunge background, so pretty!!

And that is my $5.00 Pattern of the Month!!!  November 2026 is all about the Blossoming Stars!!!   You are going to have so much fun making this quilt ;)   And of course,  if you have any questions at all, please don't hesitate to reach out to me ;)  And when you make your Blossoming Stars quilts I would love to see them!!!  You can email me a picture at happyquiltingmelissa@gmail.com or add it to social media with  #happyquiltingwithmc and #blossomingstarsquilt ;)  I can't wait to see your Quilts!!!
