I do, however, try to start each year with a personal goal in mind - last year it was more traveling and this year it is more writing as my daughters want me to share my life stories. ReplyDelete2016 NY Resolutions: Make my first quilt - which is a memorial quilt - for my cat Hailey who passed away Feb last year(17 yrs old). She was a Calico so the quilt colors are gray, white, and peach. Cutting fabric today. Very nervous. Second is to start my own petition for an animal related cause. Happy New Year!

ReplyDeleteI didn't really make a resolution, but I did sit down and list my quilting projects, goals, works-in-progress, and decide on what I want to accomplish this year. That has already helped me resist some things, start on others, and set some habits in motion, like preparing things to stitch while I watch tv instead of mindlessly scrolling through the internet. I already bound two little mug rugs which had been waiting forever to be completed--such a good feeling!
