So I am really going all out on the free motion lately. Here is my newest design attempt. I think I am going to call it swirly. Oh, and yes, that is a sneak peak of a little "baking" project for November. Yup, you are going to have to wait a while to see it in full :)
The swirls are super pretty!
ReplyDeleteNice! I wish I had the motivation to do that. I just can't bring myself to prep my machine for quilting lately.
ReplyDeleteI also love to do swirls on my free motion quilting. I think that I am better at it than just regular stippling!
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see what you have been baking :0)
Have a good weekend,
Stefanie
Hey, that is so cool.
ReplyDeleteI'm a pretty new quilter. I mean I started about 7 years ago BUT I have so many hobbies that I don't quilt all that much.
I'm trying to finish my very first quilt that I pieced and I'm practicing quilting right now and it is the SWIRLY pattern like you did.
I'm following you,

Ooh I LOVE swirls. This looks great and I can't wait to see this entire project. Of course, living where I do I am NOT going to rush through October to get to November since that means it could possibly mean snow. ewwww hate that word ~ SNOW! lol But, this little baking project looks like something that might be great to keep me warm so I can't wait to see this one.
ReplyDeleteI need to take some lessons from you! My free motion quilting is going very slowly. :( blessings, marlene
