Fat Eighth Frenzy with the Fat Quarter Shop!!!

NOTE - If you are looking for the Terrific Tuesday Giveaway Day post you will find it here ;)

Okay, so it is no secret that I love the Fat Quarter Shop's Shortcut Quilt series.  They are so fun for making a quilt that really goes together in a snap.  They have covered every pre-cut except for the Fat Eighth Bundle and today is it's day to shine!!!   Fat Eighth Frenzy is here and it even comes along with a bonus quilt!!!

I was super excited when I saw this pattern and even more excited when I was trying to decide what fabric bundle to use and stumbled upon the Ann Kelle Remix Fat Eighth bundle.  Oh, I do love me some rainbow goodness!!!  And I knew that this pattern would just be so fun in a rainbow.

I started Fat Eighth Frenzy and had the quilt top done in no time.  I just love these short-cut quilts.  I just wrote right on my pattern where I wanted the colors placed.  And I was so happy when it was all done.  I mean seriously, you cant help but smile at a rainbow ;)

I quilted my Fat Eighth Frenzy with some large swirls.  I wanted to keep it pretty soft and love how the large swirls really tied into the large design :)

And then it was time to use the leftovers ;)   Yippee for some HST goodness!!!  I once again mimicked the rainbow layout with just a few changes to keep the colors balanced that I had. The fun thing about this bonus is that the layout possibilities are endless.  I mean, 2 in 1 projects are always fun but then getting to make it entirely your own, . .  double bonus!!!   I think this would make the cutest car seat snuggler ;)

And if you do large swirls on the large quilt, you obviously are going to quilt small swirls on the small quilt ;)   I just love quilting swirls!!!

And now I know you want to whip one up yourself, it is just so easy and fun!!!   You can find the free downloadable pattern here :)    And yes, like all the other shortcut quilts, Kimberly has done a wonderful video tutorial that walks you through step by step of each quilt.  Here is the Fat Eighth Frenzy Tutorial and here is the Bonus Quilt Video ;)  These are so great for all of us visual learners ;)

So pop on over to Fat Quarter Shop and get your pattern and a Fat Eighth Bundle!!!  Fat Quarter Shop has even marked down all of their Fat Eighth Bundles 20% Off just for the release of this fun new short-cut quilt!!  Yippee!!!

And be sure to stop by the Jolly Jabber to see all of the other amazing Fat Eighth Frenzy quilts made by some other awesome bloggers :)  Inspiration galore ;)

Thanks for stopping by and have a Happy Quilting Day!!!
