My Mama used to make all the kids’ costumes for her 13 grandkids! Belle and other princesses, Robin Hood, Knights with chain-male, Wookiee, Ewoks, ribbon-faeries. She was amazing!

  22. My favorite ever was my daughter’s invention of a working fairy. She put it together herself when she was about 7 and had “dirt” on her face because she was a working fairy, with all the regular fairy things—wings. So cute! I love when kids make their own costumes. Chiskag@gmail.com

  24. Oh what a great table runner! My favorite halloween costume was a fairy princess one I loved to wear. I think I was petite enough I wore it a couple years running. It had a tulle skirt that was all sparkly and my mom made me a wand with a star at the end. I loved that one!

  34. My all time favorite Halloween costume was a Kimono that my Japanese aunt made for me. She also gave me the shoes to go with them. I still have the kimono and the fabric has a few holes in it but it is so beautiful. I believe it is a cotton fabric so if so I might try to incorporate it into a quilt someday.
