New Happy Quilting Pattern - Turnovers!!

It's day 3 of my new Happy Quilting Patterns and today it is all about . . . Turnovers!!!     This is such a fun quilt to make that will go together super quick.   And with all of it's geometric goodness, it is the perfect quilt design for your  “man cave”  or would make adorable baby boy quilt as well!    So great!  

The  Turnovers can be found in my Etsy Shop in both a Paper version as well as a PDF version.  And it is on Special for it's release with PDF Patterns at $6.50 and the Paper Patterns are $8.00!  The patterns are full color and the paper version is in book format.   

   

Turnovers is a beginnr skill level pattern.    And the fun thing about this quilt (if you didn't notice from above) is that the design has two layout options.  And all you have to do to get a completely different look is rotate the sashing.   The first picture in the post is Layout 1, and this is Layout 2 :)  The pattern uses basic piecing along with pieced sashing.  And truly, I can tell already that it is going to be one of those go-to quilts!!  I already have plans to try it out for an Alma Mater quilt.  

These Turnovers quilt are made with Secret Garden by Amanda Castor for Riley Blake Designs.    This fabric line is showing up in quilt shops now!! And if you couldn't tell  . . . Turnovers is a Jelly Roll Friendly quilt.   These picnic sizes just need 1 Jelly Roll and an accent and background fabric and awy you go!!      And of course, you can always use a dark background as well, like I did over here ;)  So fun!! 

And I had so much fun quilting these!  You can see the difference in layout a little more here.  So again, Layout 1 is the first picture.  To me it has more of a Modern look, so I went for straight lines criss cross. And Layout 2, the second picture, has a more traditional look to me, so I went for a wavy criss cross.  I love how they both have the same concept in quilting, but straight vs wavy just really adds to the layout ;)  

  

Turnovers like my Happy Quilting patterns, has multiple size options so you can make whatever size quilt works for you ;)     The pattern has 5 size options :  Baby, Lap, Picnic, Twin, and Queen/King.
