ReplyDeleteMy favorite quilt is a quilt my Godmother made. I received all her quilts after she passed but there was one that was my very favorite as a child, in fact it’s what made me want to learn how to quilt as an adult. I had to make a couple tiny repairs to it as it’s old and very loved. But I only use it upstairs in my own getaway room that’s mine and mine alone where I read books and cross stitch. So I’m very careful with it. Mostly I just look at it and think of her and the care she gave me growing up. I made a reproduction of it as well and they display together.
