Moroccan Lullaby Baby Size

I am getting ready to head out to the Snow Goose Quilt Show in Delta Utah for the weekend.  I am so excited :)  This is my first time teaching at this retreat and I know it is just going to be so fun!!!   I am teaching my Nordic Nights Class as well as my Moroccan Lullaby Class.   I haven't taught Moroccan Lullaby in a little while, so I decided I needed a new sample so I would have a quilt to go on the table.   So I whipped up this little Baby Size Moroccan Lullaby . . . Isn't it just so cute!!!

I had a few Fat Eighth's of Lella Boutique's Little Miss Sunshine fabric just sitting in my stash waiting to be used.  Paired with a white Ombre Dot from V and Co. and it just came out so adorable!!!   I even had just enough left to make a scrappy binding ;)

And when it was all done, I had to laugh as I managed to pretty much pick the same color scheme as the original.   Apparently, this quilt just likes these colors ;)   And all the better as now they will both be matching in  class ;)

This is such a fun quilt to make.  I really do love making Lattice Blocks using the No-Waste method.  It is so great to get the perfect block every time and only have to throw a tiny bit of trimming away.  Love it!!!   And now I totally want to make another Moroccan Lullaby 2 baby quilt in these same colors just reversing the prints and backgrounds ;)

And of course, I finished up the quilt a little while ago, but then totally forgot it still needed to be quilted.  So yesterday I whipped up some all over swirls.  This is such a fun design to quilt and it is super fast too, which was good, as ya know, it is now being packed today ;)

And that is my new Moroccan Lullaby Baby quilt ;)   I am just so happy with how it came out and can't wait to share it in my class tomorrow afternoon!!

I hope you all have a very Happy Quilting Weekend and whip up some of your own quilts!!!
