Wellspring Quilt!!

  Along with the Diamond Trails quilt, I shared yesterday, I also got to piece this new  Wellspring quilt for Stephanie, from Fancy That Design House!!   And you just know I so love all of the patchwork goodness in this quilt.   What a fun set of designs, one totally modern and one totally classic.  I just love that!!!    This Wellspring quilt is made with Stephanie's new Wellspring collection  and wouldn't you know, the name of the pattern matches the name of the fabric.  Fun how that works!!  

 

I always love getting to play with Fancy That Design House fabrics!   Stephanie just designs prints and uses color combinations that make my heart happy.  And I love that Stephanie added the small accent triangles in with the patchwork.   It just adds that extra element to a classic design.   So great!  

 

The Wellspring  prints really get to shine in this design, with each block popping in its pretty prints!!!     The quilt is Jelly Roll Friendly and also uses this beautiful Small Panel ;)   I love all of Stephanie’s Hymn towels, and am so glad that she is bringing the prints into her fabrics.   Just precious!!  The quilt finishes at 56" x 75" so it is a fantastic large lap size perfect to cuddle up with a good book!!  

 

And when it came time to quilt it, I decided to continue on with the wonderful grid feel.   So of course, it was wavy arches for the win!!   Wavy basically so I don't have to use a ruler.   And I love the added movement it gives the quilt.    And oh so much yummy texture!! And once again, favorite 402 Pearl was perfect for this quilt ;) 

And that is my Wellspring quilt ;)  I really enjoyed getting to piece this patchwork beauty!!  It was super fun, super fast, and a nice change up after all the diamonds ;)  I really do love the versatility in these patterns and how well this gorgeous fabric fits a whole range of design!
