Cascading - HQM Quilt 19

It is Week 19 of the Happy Quilting Marathon and l am excited to share this fun finish!!!   As soon as I finished the Nature Walk quilt I shared earlier this week, I just knew I wanted to use of my scraps to make another quilt.  And I just loved the Color Patch Cascade Pattern by Fancy That Design House, but I wanted to use all of her beautiful panels, so I took Stephanie's patchwork idea, grouped the colors and added in 3 more panels to make Cascading!!!

Isn't that just so fun!!!!   I am so, so, so in love with this Slow Stroll Fabric by Fancy That Design House for Moda Fabrics.  I mean, how can I not just love it with those yummy shades of purple.  But I just love this vibrant take on fall, just gorgeous!!!    And it looks so fun with the cascade of colors ;)

And no, I don't have a pattern for this.  It is just my take on Stephanie's beautiful Color Patch Cascade Pattern.  I just love that all 5 panels are so happy in this quilt. Stephanie's artistry is truly amazing!!!      My quilt finishes at 72" x 88" so it is going to be perfect to layout under a tree and watch the leaves fall ;)

When it came time to quilt it, you know I just can't pass up patchwork gridlines.   So yup, echoed wavy orange peel for the win!!!   And I love the way it looks on the panels as well.  It really just adds so much yummy texture!!!     And again, shocking but true, this is not 402 thread, it is actually 403 So Fine, which is a little more brown than 402 and really looks great on all of these autumn colors.

And now this Cascading quilt is ready to loved!!!  I just know this will be the perfect gift for a fall wedding!!!  It is just so happy making, I hope it makes it's recipients super happy!!

And that is Quilt #19 - All the Trimmings ;)  19 Down and only 7 more quilts to go in the Happy Quilting Marathon :)   I think I can, I think I can, I think I can!!!

And that is it for today, thanks for popping in to share this finish with me!!!

I hope you all have a very Happy Quilting Weekend!!
