Fast & Fun Sampler Quilt Along - Week 7

But before we get to Week 7 . . . we need to pick the Week 6 Winner of the Layer Cake of your Choice  from My Stash.  And the winner is . . . Barbara !!!!   I have messaged you.

WEEK 7 - MERRY-GO-ROUND BLOCKS

It's the seventh week of making blocks for the Fast & Fun Sampler Quilt Along and we are working on blocks for the pieced backing this week!!!  And just a reminder,  I am making 2 versions of the quilt, so you only need to share one set of blocks ;)     You will need your copy of Fast & Fun Lap Quilts (which is available in both hard copy or e-book format)  for the piecing instructions as well as the Week 7 - Merry-Go-Round Block Pattern  supplemental directions for making your blocks ;)  This week we will be so fun making blocks from the  Merry-Go-Round Quilt!!!

We will be making 5 Merry-Go-Round Blocks and 4 Sashings from the Merry-Go-Round Quilt.     You will be using directions from pages 39-45 in your book and the Week 7 - Merry-Go-Round Block Pattern for supplemental directions to make your blocks.  

And once your blocks and sashing units are made, be sure to sew them into one long row for the center strip of your pieced backing ;)

WEEK 7 - SHARE YOUR BLOCKS

And just like that, you are done with Week 6!!  And now, you get to share your progress!!!   Lets see your week 7 Merry-Go-Round Blocks and enter to win prizes :)    Here's how:
