August Sew Sampler!!

Ahh, school is back and I am loving the long days of sewing!!!   I am working on so many projects right now, and with my August  Sew Sampler Box arriving last month, I have another "to make" to add to the pile.  The theme for August was Fables of Fall and it is such an awesome box of quilty goodness!!!   I can't wait to use everything from this month in that Verbena quilt project!!

I love, love, love this Folk and Lore Fabrics from Fancy That Design House!!!  I got to make this Floral Trails quilt for Stephanie with these prints, and I can tell you, they are absolutely gorgeous!!   And I can't wait to make the Verbena Quilt pattern with it!!   I have some extra's from Floral Trails as well, so I might make Verbena bigger ;)

And I just love how Fat Quarter Shop always gives us just the notions we need!!!  You don't want to try to cut curves without a 28mm Roater Cutter, they make it soooo much easier!!!    I have 5 that I take with me when teaching my curved piecing classes, and maybe this one will be my Just for Me cutter!  (and side note, I have seen all of the brands in use throughout my classes and I can say, Olfa's is the best!!!)    And I am so excited to try out The Clammy!!!  I have heard so much about this ruler and am thrilled to give it a try ;)    And of course, A mechanical Pencil is always a must when sewing and designing, and this Sewline Pencil is just so cute!!

And a new month means another Pieceful Basket block.    I am at that point in the process where I am wondering if going outside the box was a great idea.  This Kona Lime Background is so bright.  But I will just keep pushing on because I love the Milk and Honey fabrics  and I really think it will all come together in the end.

And that is August Sew Sampler Box.

And can I just say, I am so excited that it is September!!!   I can start to feel Fall in the air and it is just making me so very Happy :)

Happy Quilting!!!
