WIP Wednesday

First off . . . If you are looking for my 300 follower giveaway it is here

I had to laugh a bit when I was thinking about my WIP to post because I think I currently have 8 things on the drawing / cutting board and 1 actual work in progress.

So first - Something from the drawing board.  I decided on my design for the Modern Quilt Guild #2 Challenge. The challenge this time around is a completely monochromatic quilt.  2 nights ago I got the design all laid out and grabbed the fabric from my stash.  So it is ready to go.  Can you guess what color I choose :)

And second . .  My actual WIP.  Which happens to be something I don't want to show off yet.  How is that for mean??  I am working with the amazing Sunkissed line from Sweetwater to make a Moda Bake Shop tutorial for February.  And this quilt is a little intense - time wise that is.  I will show you this.  These are my clippings from the last 2 days work :)  Aren't they cute :)

So that is it for WIP - There is a lot going on over here at Happy Quilting just not a lot that I can show for it.  Sorry :)  I will show more as some of those other drawing board ideas actually meet fabric :)

  1. I love the pink with the swirlies!

  2. Your pink stash looks very similar to my pink stash - hmmmmm. I haven't even gotten mine on the drawing board. Everyone is into the Sunkiss - I went with the other spring - Buttercup, and I love it.

  3. I usually don't like pink or use much pink fabric, but I reallly love your fabrics! :)

  4. Very excited to see what you do with all of that pink fabric!

  5. I love the pink.

    Happy quilting.

  6. Those have all the makings of a couple of great projects!

  7. I keep seeing all these piles of fabric for the monochromatic quilt challenge and it's making me want to make one - but I need another WIP like I need a hole in my head. : ) Looking forward to seeing what you've got going with Sunkissed, that's such a great line!

Thanks for linking up with WIP Wednesday, have a wonderful week.

  8. I'm not a light pink kind of girl (make my pinks ferocious fuchsia!), but I have all of those pink fabrics in my stash, go figure! Eager to see what you make. And I looooove Sunkissed, wanna see where that one goes, too.

  9. I'm a pink-lover-girl, this will become a wonderful quilt, for sure.
    Happy sewing! :)

  10. Are you going to make something from the clippings?!?!?! I'm curious. =)
