This video walks you through the basics of creating an echoed paisley all over free motion quilt design. This is a beautiful design that creates a chic and elegant finish to your quilt. The paisley shape is just like making half of a heart or a feather and then just echo inside, and then outside to travel. And like all free motion quilting, practice makes perfect :) Enjoy!!
This is a wonderful video! I really like that you show the reality of quilting on an actual quilt with bulk, instead of just doing a sample piece. Samples are so much easier. Watching you do a real quilt is much better (and more true to life)! I have tried drawing paisleys and I'm not very good at it. Now with this video, I think I can do it now! Thank you.
I think it would take alot of practice to do this. Having done a bit of it I know it isn`t as easy as you make it seem. Sure does motive me to do more of it. Thanks.
This is a gorgeous design! Would you mind sharing a printable version of this design for the drawing impaired? I would love to try this on my embroidery machine with a quilt-as-you-go quilt.
