I like my Clover seam ripper. The most important thing for me in a seam ripper is large size because I'm always losing it!
ReplyDeleteI have the seam fix seam ripper in pink. Love the bright color!
ReplyDeleteI just followed Fabric Please on Facebook. Saw that they have a cute maple leaf print for Canada day!!
ReplyDeleteMine is a pretty basic one. I have a beautiful turned acrylic handled one, but it has a rough edge which always snags the thread and tears it (which shouldn't be a problem, it's a seam ripper after all. But when I'm just trying to pull out a few stitches so I can tie off a quilting thread, I don't want the thread broken.)
ReplyDeleteMine is the basic one that came with my sewing machine!
ReplyDeleteClover~ but I also use the one in my sewing machine if a set the Clover aside by accident~
ReplyDeletefollowing Fabric Please on FB
ReplyDeleteI think I have every seam ripper available but I love the Seam Fix.
ReplyDeleteMy old bent seam ripper is my favorite because the curved tip makes a nice stiletto. I don't know what the 'fix' side is on your ripper but i'm going to check it out. sjvonfumetti at yahoo dot com
ReplyDeleteI like the 'remnanats - fat quarter' section of their site. sjvonfumetti at yahoo dot com
ReplyDeleteMy favorite is one that has a handmade wooden handle from a friend. The seam ripper isn't special, just the handle ;-)
ReplyDeleteMy husband bought me a seam ripper for my birthday. I'm not sure what it's called or where he got it from.
ReplyDeleteI receive their newsletter.
ReplyDeleteMine is the original one that I got when I moved out on my own 7 years ago! The cap has disappeared and it needs to be replaced!
ReplyDeleteI follow them on Facebook and I would definitely get some of the Winter Wonderland fabrics. :)
ReplyDeleteI like my small seam ripper that came with my sewing machine. It's small and has a protective cap too!
ReplyDeleteI love Fabric Please! And follow them via email and FB!
ReplyDeleteI use a Singer switchblade style because I don't lose it!
ReplyDeleteI followed Fabric Please on Facebook
ReplyDeleteI have a lime green mini Seam Fix!
ReplyDeleteI follow Fabric Please on Facebook.
ReplyDeleteI agree 100%, my favorite is the Seam Fix as well.
ReplyDeleteI haven't found a seam ripper I love, so I use a small, very sharp pointed scissor to clip stitches.
ReplyDeleteI have the seam ripper that came with the sewing machine.
ReplyDeleteI already receive their newsletter.
ReplyDeleteErgominic by Dritz ..also in purple:)
ReplyDeleteschimmel(dot)db(at)gmail(dot)com
I like the Seam Fix ripper in the Fabric Please shop and would love to buy one .
ReplyDeleteschimmel(dot)db(at)gmail(dot)com
I probably really need this seam ripper since I use a small scissor with super sharp tips.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite is Clover's. Seam Fix would give it a run for the money if they'd fix the design, either by making it one piece or by making it so the rubber top part will post onto the handle of the seam ripper part.
ReplyDeleteI just use the one that came with an old machine, but I recently saw the Seam Fix ripper and I think I need to get one!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite seam ripper is the one I find when i need one.. I have multiple.. and yet when I reach for it.. I don't always find .. right away!
ReplyDeleteI use my little rotary cutter....really I do!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite is the Fons and Porter ergonomic one. It is very comfortable to hold.
ReplyDeleteI use the seam ripper that came with my machine :/ It has been used quite frequently lately.
ReplyDeleteI follow Fabric Please on Facebook.
ReplyDeleteI don't know the brand but mine has a rectangular handle so it does not roll off the table. My one dog used to pick up everything for me and once it was my seam ripper that had just rolled off onto the floor-she was quicker and got there first-YIKES so I have flat ones now.
ReplyDeleteI signed up for "Fabric Please"'s! newsletter. trotskyn@att.net
ReplyDeleteI visited the shop and I really like WALK IN THE PARK – DAISY DOT – VIOLET.
ReplyDeleteI use Clover's white small seam ripper. trotskyn@att.net
ReplyDeleteClover seam ripper! It's sharp and small.
ReplyDeleteThis comment has been removed by the author.
ReplyDeleteI really like my Clover seam ripper. It fits into my hand nicely and it is big enough that it's harder to misplace.
ReplyDeleteI have a seam fix seam ripper and it's great. I also have a basic one that's very sharp. You can never have too many seam rippers!
ReplyDeleteI get the Fabric Please newsletter. It's a great shop!
ReplyDeleteI have a small plain ripper, but the Seam Fix looks intriguing. That white tip would be hand for "erasing" cut thread.
ReplyDeleteI use the seam ripper above, but I also have to use the light-up one. My sewing room is pretty dark, so the light helps when it's ripping apart dark fabric
ReplyDeleteJulie.mirdoch@shaw.ca
I love their color play kit!
ReplyDeleteJulie.mirdoch@shaw.ca
I follow Fabric Please on Facebook. Thanks for the chance to win!
ReplyDeleteI seem to have lost all my seam rippers, so I bought a cheapy one at my LQS--and the flat handle is NOT my favorite. So a new seam ripper. . . :)
ReplyDeleteI use the Clover seam ripper.
ReplyDeleteI get their newsletter.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite seam ripper is in a multi tool by Alex Anderson that was a gift from a friend. It is really super sharp and the end is sooo pointy, I can get it under the tiniest stitch.
ReplyDeleteTheir GlobalMamas fabrics are gorgeous!I don't usually like batiks--but these are very special!
ReplyDeleteI follow Fabric Please on Fb. Nancy A: rangerer@sbcglobal.net
ReplyDeleteI really don't know what my favorite sesame ripper is -- I have had it for a long time. I got one with my Pfaff machine that I really like. Nancy A: rangerer@sbcglobal.net
ReplyDeleteI have a couple Clovers and a couple sewing machine ones. I like the Clovers best, but I really like whichever one I can find at that moment. I don't lose scissors but the seam rippers always seem to be buried.
ReplyDeleteMy seam ripper is ancient - or perhaps "vintage" sounds trendier? I've had it for years and couldn't tell you the brand. Time for a new one!
ReplyDeletebasaran.family@rogers.com
I receive the Fabric Please! newsletter. Thanks for the chance!
ReplyDeletebasaran.family@rogers.com

ReplyDeleteThank you for chance to win your Give-a-way!! :D
My favorite seam ripper is a clover. Have never seen the brand you are showing us so will keep my eyes peeled!
ReplyDeleteI follow Fabric Please on FB and frequent her shop. Rita is such a generous soul.
ReplyDeleteI just recently got a Seam Fix ripper myself, but I have not needed to use it since I got it. That's a good thing, I guess, but I'm anxious to really give it a road test, haha, and check out that other end which is supposed to pull the threads away. Can't wait!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite seam ripper is the one I have had for over forty years - it has yellowed but works great!
ReplyDeleteI follow Fabric Please on fb.
ReplyDeleteI get Fabric Please's newsletter.
ReplyDeleteSigned up for the newsletter :)
ReplyDeleteMy seam ripper came with my machine... and is well loved.
DeleteI have one generic seam ripper that i picked up at a local notions shop. Can't say that it's anything i like because using it means i've done something wrong. It symbolizes an extra hour or so of work, depending upon the project. :-/
ReplyDeleteI have a couple Seam Fix.
ReplyDeleteNice shop-with lots of nice gingham fabrics.
ReplyDeleteI have four or five cheap ones all over , will have to look for the kind you use
ReplyDeleteI follow them on facebook
ReplyDeleteI prefer the Clover seam ripper with the large off-white handle. There's one at my sewing machine, one in my tool box and one in the tool stash in case I lose it. I have a tiny Seam Fix too, and love using that white part to remove frogged stitches. It's pink.
ReplyDeleteDon't really have a favourite seam ripper but what would we do without them!
ReplyDeleteThe Seam Fix is the ONLY seam ripper (isn't it?????)
ReplyDeleteI had an old brown seam ripper that I'd had for years, it has disappeared. I now use what ever comes to hand. I've been trying out a Tula Pink curved blade my hubby got for me. It's beautiful but not old faithful.
ReplyDeleteI like the teeny little white one that came with my Viking. It is tiny and sharp!
ReplyDeleteOh my, I haven't changed seam rippers since my original one that came with my 1970's Kenmore.
DeleteSeam fix baby one in hot pink. Following on fb.
ReplyDeleteI would love to try that Seam Fix one. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteI love my pink seam fix seam ripper. I've used it to death.

ReplyDeleteI receive the Fabric Please newsletter and visit their shop. They have a number of pre-cut bundles I am looking at...particularly the Blue Barn prints and the Tree House Club.
ReplyDeleteI have several seam rippers I use. My most recent favorite is from an eight pack I bought on amazon. I like the seam fix for the thread catching cap.
ReplyDeleteI have a small seam ripper and a bigger one. Pretty basic ones. One is purple though! angielovesgary2 atgmail dotcom
ReplyDeleteI receive Fabric Please newsletter and emails. angielovesgary2 atgmail dotcom
ReplyDeleteI have the same exact seam ripper you do and I love, love, love it!
ReplyDeleteI have a Clover seam ripper that my daughter borrowed and waiting for her to return it so right now I'm using an old Singer one. Signing up for Fabric Please newsletter and going to check out the sales section!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite is the seam fix and I am sad because I can't find it and am in desperate need of a new one!
ReplyDeleteI busted there sure and they have something (well a lot of things) I love! Something I hadn't seen before was a double gauze with birds (whisper) it was so cute!
ReplyDeleteI have a purple Seam Fix that is my favourite.
ReplyDeleteI guess my favorite seam ripper is whichever is at arms reach when I need it. LOL I would love to try your favorite.
ReplyDeleteI follow Rita everywhere...ok that doesn't sound quite right, but I do receive her newsletter and follow her on FB and IG.
ReplyDeleteFunny you should ask. I was just talking about my favorite seam ripper yesterday. It's the original one that came with my Kenmore back in 1974. I've bought a few since then, but they've all landed in the circular file. I have two now! My Janome came with one just like it!
ReplyDeleteI receive their newsletter.
ReplyDeletemy favorite seam ripper is by Clover.
ReplyDeleteMy favourite seam ripper came with my huskie sewing machine, so no new one, unless I buy a new machine. That works for me! Thanks for the giveaway. Tarnia.hodges @ gmail dot com
ReplyDeleteI have a white clover seam ripper that I like, but also received a very nice wood handle ripper as a gift! Thanks, Melissa.
ReplyDeleteOk leave it to me to spot a fabric I love on her website, and have it turn out to be a remnant! :)
ReplyDeleteBut I love it only 13 inches or not...it is the Jazz Jam Multi Stars.
I don't have a favorite but I need one because I need a new one, mine is cracked and worn out! :(
ReplyDeleteThanks for the giveaway.
My favorite seam ripper is a hospital scalpel. I know I shouldn't be using such a sharp instrument for ripping out seams.... but it works so well!

ReplyDeleteClover seam ripper for me!
ReplyDeleteI think I NEED the Season's Best - Summer by Kim Schaefer fabric! Beautiful colors and pattern. What a lovely design!!
ReplyDeleteI have four Seam Fix rippers (two are purple!). I really like how the rubber tip removes the thread pieces so easily.
ReplyDeleteThe Carkai fat quarter bundle is drool-worthy.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite seam ripper is that one that goes unused! I really use the one that came with my machine the most, although I do have a couple of others. It's always handy and fits my small hands well.
ReplyDelete(bolderbaker.at.gmail.dot.com)
My favorite is purple also favorite color big easy to see and the other end has rubber tip to go over stitches that we're removed
ReplyDeleteI also have a Seam Fix, but my always go to is the one that came with my first Singer, way back in the 70s, it has an acrylic handle that I use for so many reasons.
ReplyDeleteI have signed up for Fabric Pleases newsletter, will look forward to seeing great things
ReplyDeleteI have that very same seam ripper on my Amazon wish list! The one I have now is an old one whose brand I have no idea. It's not exciting, but I suppose it does the trick.
ReplyDeleteI love all of that Farm Fun fabric. It is so adorable!
ReplyDeleteI just signed up for the Fabric Please newsletter!!
ReplyDeleteI just bought an electronic seam ripper at yard sale for 10 bucks..Brand new...I think I am in love...lol... happyness04431@yahoo.com
ReplyDeleteMy favorite seam ripper is a pink and white one that reminds of the breast cancer symbols. Afraid I don't know the brand, only that it reminds me of so many sisters going through treatment.

ReplyDeleteMy favorite seam ripper is a "no-name" that I got in a sewing store in Mexico.
ReplyDeleteI love the CANVAS – RECTANGLES ON TAUPE. It would be great for making decorator pillows or tote bags.
ReplyDeleteClover. It's a lot sharper than the cheapies that came with my cheap machine! I haven't tried any others yet.
ReplyDeleteI don't have a favorite. I usually use my scissors and pull the thread through. I hand quilt, so I usually am just taking out crooked piecing.
ReplyDeleteI get fabric please newsletter! Little lanes @ hotmail . com
ReplyDeleteMy favorite seam ripper came with my machine and I like that it has a lid.
ReplyDeleteMy clover.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite ripper, if a ripper can be a "favorite," is made by Clover. Very thin and very sharp.

ReplyDeleteMy favorite seam ripper is the one that is closest when I need it! :)
ReplyDeleteSandy A
I like the Hey Dot fat quarter pack on the Fabric Please website.
ReplyDeleteFavorite seam ripper at the moment is the one that came with my machine. Its sharp, small but fits my hand. I also use it to help like a purple thang and since it is small, I can get it farther under the foot as needed.
ReplyDeleteI think I have three, one near my machine, one on my cutting table, and one put away. no favorites
ReplyDeleteMy favorite until recently had been a Clover ergonomic seam ripper. I have recently purchased one that is hand made, and has the most delightful color and hefty weight. I love it.
ReplyDeleteI have two seam rippers--one yellow, one blue--but have no idea what brand they are or where they came from. I've had them about a zillion years by this point. ;)
ReplyDeleteLove those colorful Christine Stainbrook fabrics on the website!
ReplyDeleteI just have an old one that came with a starter sewing kit I got years ago. It's a bit too short to fit comfortably in my hand. Thanks for this opportunity to upgrade!

ReplyDeleteERIN2470@HOTMAIL.COM
Seam Fix is by far my favorite seam ripper. I wish the little one had an end like the big one for when I misplace the cap.
ReplyDeleteI have a very expensive lightweight thin brass one that I love.
ReplyDeleteI already follow Fabric Please.
ReplyDeleteI love my clover seam ripper.
ReplyDeleteAfter being in relationship with markiss for seven years,he broke up with me, I did everything possible to bring him back but all was in vain, I wanted him back so much because of the love I have for him, I begged him with everything, I made promises but he refused. I explained my problem to someone online and she suggested that I should rather contact a spell caster that could help me cast a spell to bring him back but I am the type that never believed in spell, I had no choice than to try it, I mailed the spell caster, and he told me there was no problem that everything will be okay before three days, that my ex will return to me before three days, he cast the spell and surprisingly in the second day, it was around 4pm. My ex called me, I was so surprised, I answered the call and all he said was that he was so sorry for everything that happened, that he wanted me to return to him, that he loves me so much. I was so happy and went to him, that was how we started living together happily again. Since then, I have made promise that anybody I know that have a relationship problem, I would be of help to such person by referring him or her to the only real and powerful spell caster who helped me with my own problem and who is different from all the fake ones out there. Anybody could need the help of the spell caster, his email: drosemudiamenspellhome@gmail.com you can email him if you need his assistance in your relationship or anything. I CAN NEVER STOP TALKING ABOUT HIM, HIS EMAIL ADDRESS IS: drosemudiamenspellhome@gmail.com CONTACT HIM NOW FOR SOLUTION TO ALL YOUR PROBLEM, HE ALSO HELP PEOPLE TO GET PREGNANT.

ReplyDeleteI follow Fabric Please on fb.
ReplyDeleteI use a clover seam ripper but would love to try this kind.
ReplyDeleteI love the Farm Fun fabrics.
ReplyDeleteMy seam ripper is a basic one, with a small sharp blade, the same style that has been available for decades. Some day I may try a fancy one!
ReplyDeleteI have a very small green one(don't know the manufacturer) love the fact that it is narrow and sharp and I am able to use it on smaller stitches.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite seam ripper is my purple Clover - it's very comfy.
ReplyDeleteI like their monthly fabric subscriptions - especially the fat 8th club.
ReplyDeleteI like my CLover white handle seam ripper. I have two of them. One by my mid arm and the other by the Bernina.
ReplyDeleteI like my Clover ones-but my favorite one is a sharp one, LOL
ReplyDeleteI definitely need to try this one. Everytime I go into a quilt shop or fabric store, I usually pick up a seam ripper. Mine seem to get lost fast.
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure of the brand but it is a large seam ripper and very easy to hold. The little tiny ones that come with new sewing machines is difficult to use especially when you have arthritis. The one in the picture about looks very ergonomic.
ReplyDeleteI bought a new seam ripper recently and do not like it because it isn't sharp. I willl definitely try the Seam Fix! Cotten.gloria@gmail.com

ReplyDeleteI don't have a favorite seam ripper. I have several and they are all pretty cheap. Maybe it's time for an upgrade?
ReplyDeleteMy favorite seam ripper is the Seam Fix Seam Ripper. I actually have two of them (one for upstairs and one for downstairs!) and they are both purple.
ReplyDeleteI visited the shop. I have never been there before, but I love that you can search by color. I wish all shops did that. I also looked at precuts and found they have still got some desert bloom precuts that I might just have to get.
ReplyDeleteI use one of my mom's old seam rippers!
ReplyDeletemy seam ripper is purple (!) and is by Dritz
ReplyDelete
