This is my block and it's called Pavers Stone. I designed this block in the Pittsburgh airport on my way back from Spring Quilt Market last year. I was inspired by a carved design in the cement outside of the airport. I couldn't wait to get through security so I could sit down with a pad of paper and sketch it out. I just love the clean, simple lines of it ;)

ReplyDeleteEleven volumes- one hundred blocks each

To say that's a lot wouldn't be much of a reach

Inspiration for quilts can be found just anywhere

At the airport, the park or from the top of a stair

In a rug, a plant, maybe even a boat

These blocks are great and e won't even gloat.

Poachers stone by Melissa in many color ways will keep us all in stitches for at least eleven more days.
