You might recall when I shared the finished quilt top back in March and I mentioned that I would have to think a bit on the quilting . . . well, I guess a bit was 7 months ;) But good things come to those that wait right :) And I just love how this turned out to be such a good thing!!!
And you have to check out the back of this quilt as well, since it is such an adorable bonus camera block. So perfect. The bike spoke almost fit in the camera lens, kind of a cool look ;) And a little bonus, it really shows all of the quilting ;)
And that is my Snapshots quilt !!! Yippee!!!! Now it is off to Salt Lake for the annual Festival of Trees to be part of the quilt block auction to help sweet little ones at Primary Children's Hospital. I can not tell you how grateful I am to be able to use this passion for quilting to help with such an amazing cause. It is truly humbling and amazing to be a small part is such an amazing event for such a wonderful cause. Especially as I can do this to day a huge thank you to all of those that took care of my sweet little nephew.
And that's all for today. Thank you so much for stopping by today and each day. I am feeling so very grateful today for being a part of such an amazing industry full of the nicest people!!!! Thanks for being a part of my quilty family ;)
Linking up this finish to Amanda's and Sarah's ;)
Love it!!

ReplyDeleteJOB. WELL. DONE.
ReplyDeleteIt looks fantastic! Someone is going to be very happy to win that quilt.
ReplyDeleteThis is so ironic because I finished my Snapshots quilt in February (Daysail too) and I pulled it out today to look at it because I haven't quilted it yet. I have been stumped as to how to quilt it!!! I spent so much time on the piecing I wanted to do it custom. I am a long armer too but I have the computerized machine and I wish I could be better at free hand but I never take the time to practice. I love what you did on your quilt and you have inspired me to practice first and try to do mine freehand!
ReplyDeleteNicely done! I still have not finished all my blocks. Someday! Lol
ReplyDeleteThat turned out super cute!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful quilt and a wonderful cause! Congratulations!
