If you would like to participate in this event as well, You can watch the informational #LIGHTtheWORLD video below, and go here to see more videos and find out more about all of the ways you can help #LIGHTtheWORLD this Christmas season. It just warms my heart to think of people of all faiths, from all over the world, coming together to make our world better.
The #LIGHTtheWORLD idea is to share the light of Christ and Christmas each day leading up to Christmas and there is even a "In 25 Ways over 25 Days" Advent Calendar you can download and print that provides suggestions each day on how you can help to "LIGHTtheWORLD" Today is the first day and it is being kicked off with a worldwide day of service event ;) I will be teaching my sister-in-laws how to make homemade chocolates for my service.
So, Happy December to each of you and let's try and make this the best December filled with joy and happiness and love for all :)
Now, I would never doubt your motivation for that act of service. But if it was me? Well, there might be a bit of self-serving in that act, because when there's chocolate involved all bets are off! Hope it is a fun activity for you all.
ReplyDeleteYes, there is often a lot of eating to go along with the making ;)
DeleteLove your Tree! Mine goes up after the 1st Presidency Broadcast and the Nativity. Christmas is the best time to share your talent. Even if it means you get to eat and enjoy some Chocolate!
ReplyDeleteSuch a great idea. Love your tree.
ReplyDeleteKeep us in the know, Melissa, tell us what you do every day...it is fun to see what others are doing and is very inspirational! Thanks.
ReplyDeleteThat sounds like a wonderful idea and a wonderful way to share the true spirit of Christmas.

We just had a life celebration for my momma today. She lived to 93, She was always the exemplification of giving from her heart. She taught us to follow.
Melissa, I am so glad to know you. You are a shining star that does light the world
Now I understand so much more about why I've always liked you. =) #LIGHTtheWORLD, indeed.
