ReplyDeleteMy sewing machine is called Necchi.
ReplyDeleteI signed up for Four Peaches Fabric's newsletter.
ReplyDeleteMy main sewing machine's name is Bonnie, but sometimes I call her another "b" word, when she isn't doing what I'd like. Of course that is usually because I need to give her a bit of a spa treatment. The others go by "Juki," "Little Brother," and "Grandma's."
ReplyDeleteI follow Four Peaches on Pinterest!
ReplyDeleteMy machine is Fertile Myrtle.....no matter how tired she gets she keeps going strong!
ReplyDeleteI follow Four Peaches on Facebook already. Although I love the pictures of fabric, etc, Fezzik has stolen my heart. I didn't even know what a Bouvier des flandres was until him. :)
ReplyDeleteMy machine is Maggie, she's a Janome Magnolia. :D
ReplyDeleteI have never named my sewing machine (I've been sewing for 4 years now). I JUST received a gift of a machine from a friend on Sunday .. and never thought of naming it either! But now I'll have to think on it. Whatever they end up, they'll be something geeky.
ReplyDeleteDon’t name my sewing machine.
ReplyDeleteThanks,

My domestic sewing machine is lovingly referred to most days as Evelyn when she behaves and Evie when she is being ornery after an ornery great aunt I had named Evie! The quilter is named Hretha.
ReplyDeleteMy main (oldest) machine is a Kenmore, so of course its name is "Ken," which fits because it's just a plain, tan, all metal (read "heavy") workhorse that I've had for almost 40 years. But this summer I got a used Pfaff and she is so pretty (pink and white) that I had to name her "Barbie."
ReplyDeleteAlso I follow Four Peaches on Facebook and Pinterest
ReplyDeleteI have named most of my machines... Sweet Baby Jayne, Charity, BlueWhite, Lucy and Ethel, and Domestic Goddess! Some machines don't have names, but I'm not sure why!?!
ReplyDeleteNope just my little janome got to love. happyness04431@yahoo.com
ReplyDeleteI like using the Make/Model name as their names. Sometimes just adding a little 'ie' or 'y' like Pfaffy. ;)
ReplyDeleteI have never named a machine...hmm.
ReplyDeleteI haven't named my machines.
ReplyDeleteMy sewing machine does not hae a name - she is a 40 year old Kenmore and I love her - nameless or not.

Mine is called Diamond. I was able to buy this machine because one Christmas my husband gave me a nice sum of money as a gift, thinking it would buy me a sewing machine. He took me to the store only to find the one I wanted cost much more (which I made up the difference). When my daughter found out how much it was she said "mom, you could buy a diamond with what you spent on the machine!" I'm not quite sure she is correct, but that's how it got its name!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the opportunity to win!
