January Sew Sampler!!

Here it is, the last day of January.  Did anyone else's month seem liked you just blinked and it was over ;)   But the great thing about the month going by fast was it meant it didn't seem I had to wait as long for my January Sew Sampler box !!!      The theme for the box is Spool of Love and it was filled with so much Quilty Goodness ;)  Have I mentioned how much I love my Sew Sampler box?? (tee hee hee :)

For starters, Bonnie and Camille.  I mean, need I say more ;)   I just love Bonnie and Camille fabrics.  (and yes, I say that about just every designer, but hey, I really do love them all!!!)    So I was super excited  when I open it to find a Little Snippets Petite Honey Bun, which are 1 1/2" strips, that are so cute!!  And there is also Little Snippets Yardage for finishing the Sew Mates pattern that was included.  How cute is that!!!  I just love that Fat Quarter Shop keeps sending us everything we need to make the project :)

And this month's notions had me smiling :)  I have been totally geeking out over the Ruby Olfa Cutters that have been popping up in celebration of Olfa's 40th anniversary!!!   And I have to laugh as I am writting this because just yesterday,I was asked when teaching . . . "How many Rotary Cutters do you own, and how many do you actually use."   To which I answered, "I am not sure, and I use all of them!!!"  In my opinion, you can never have to many ;)
And I so loving this Little Snippets Notepad.  I am always looking for a scrap paper in my sewing room for doing quick match calculations, so this little pad is staying right next to the pen jar!  And I already told the kids, no "borrowing it" like they did with the post-it pad I had there before ;)

And of course, with a new box, there is a new Barn Block!!!  And this month's block was super easy and went together in no time at all.   And I have to say, I am starting to really have to get to the bottom of my grey scraps to find a piece large enough to make the barn!!!  Yippee for using scraps.   Good thing there are only 2 more blocks to go in this Barn Raising ;)

And that's my January Sew Sampler Box!!!    Maybe February will go by just as fast as January did and before I know it, another little aqua box will be in the mail ;)

I hope you all have a very Happy Quilting Day!!!
