Today's milestone project is my Christmas Around the Year quilt. This is the first quilt I ever made. It took me 2 1/2 years to make. I did start and finish a few baby quilts in that time, but this is the quilt that started it all. My mother taught me the basics of cutting and piecing 8 years ago before we left for school. I never would have dreamed this one quilt would have someday brought me to all of this, but I am sure loving the journey!!!
