Going Back to Bed

Well I tried to fight it.  I tried to tell myself all day yesterday that I wasn't getting sick.  Sadly, it didn't work. So instead of going down to my sewing room to play with these lovelies (British Invasion by Riley Blake and Hubba Hubba by Me and My Sister for Moda)  that will be showing up in upcoming projects I think I will just go back to bed.

Here is hoping it is just a 24 hour thing :)  It better be, because I need to be up bright and early for the next installment in the Star Light Star Bright Quilt-A-Long.  See ya then :)

  2. Feel better! I do the same thing.... I am NOT getting sick, I am NOT getting sick.... and sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Get your rest and fluids and tomorrow will be a new day!

  4. Don't hurry on the QAL, haha. I was one of the ones so excited for it and now I'm way behind. But it's for a good reason. I'm finally [hand] quilting my Star Surround quilt for an auction next month. I need to get it done fast. But I also need to make temple dresses for my girlies (!!!) and for tonight I have to get my lesson ready for Activity Days, it's a "temple prep class!" I'm still not done with my block centers, though. *sigh* Maybe I won't be up to date in time to get my name in for one of those very generous 75$ gift cards.

I hope you feel better soon, though. You do so much, though. It may be one of those times when your body is just telling you sit down and shut up.

  7. Get plenty of rest and don't worry about the QAL. I'm way behind so it could work to my advantage LOLL. Seriously though, you take care.

  8. Aww.. how sad that you don't get to play with your lovely fabric, you could just lay in bed with it on top of you to keep you warm and dreaming happy! Hope you feel better soon, p.s. finished my pillow, love it.

  16. Forget about the QAL and concentrate on yourself. The world isn't going to end if you stay in bed another day and don't post the next part in time.

  17. Praying for a speedy recovery for you Melissa. Take care of yourself. A couple of weeks ago, my son had some kind of bug and was sick for a couple of days. Then last week I started feeling crummy. I finally decided I needed to go to the doctor. I guess it was a good thing. He's tentatively ruled out some things and now I'm waiting to go to a specialist. So, since then I've only cut out the print for two blocks - not even the background fabric. I do work some on a binding. Again, prays for your quick healing.
