  46. I made a quilt for my first granddaughter on her first Valentine's Day and I actually hand quilted hearts on the quilt (I hate handwork and hand quilting, so this was a huge departure for me!!). I still love that little flannel quilt.

  82. One year when the kids were in grade school I got really ambitious and made each of them a small stuffed teddy bear in fabrics they would love. LOL they turned out ok and the kids loved them, but the time I had to put into figuring out the pattern was just ridiculous. LOL well lesson learned.

  104. I can't remember the last Valentines project I sewed. Usually it's paper and glitter hearts. I used to make chocolate treats when my kids were home but even that's gone by the wayside. I think I have a box of suckers that I bought last year for the grandkids though. Thanks.

I thought this would look cute haging in our bedroom and that my husband would actually really like it if I avoided all of the pink from the holiday. Unfortunately, I have not started yet.   174. My favorite Valentines project was a rose bouquet and a verse that, said "Love is the gift of yourself". I cross stitched it and gave it to my husband back in '88 when we were expecting our second child. Sweet memories!

  179. My favorite Valentine project was a red and white dress for my daughter for a valentine party at her school. It had white heart buttons. She loved that dress and wore it even after Valentines Day.

  180. My newest favorite Valentine project is a twister pillow. I have been wanting to try this, but was rather scared of it. After i got the inital block made, it really was a snap. Can't wait to try more of these.

  191. I'm not generally a heart person, but I made a strips and strings heart quilt out of all sorts of red and white fabrics that I really really love. I ended up giving it to my sister in law, but I never thought I would love a heart quilt so much!
