  2. I would love to be in a Winter Wonderland but we are in a wet soggy land. There is a saying in Louisiana, "If you don't like the weather, wait an hour or so and it will change." The new saying is " Louisiana does not often have four seasons...but when It does...they are all in the same week,"

  33. I'm a dedicated FQS follower so am stalking them on FB, by newsletter, on their YouTube channel and Instagram. My current favorite thing from their shop is the 2015 Designer Mystery Quilt. They always include such clear instructions and extra fabric that they are a joy to do.

  34. Should be a winter wonderland but thats all going east (so sorry). The tulips are starting to show green, the fruit trees look like they're trying to bud and we haven't had any snow but I know we aren't through with the cold yet.

Have done/am doing their Mystery Designer BOMs for several years, get their newsletter, read their blog, subscribe to the YouTube videos that Kimberly does, and think they have the best customer service of just about any on-line shop. The GC would come in really handy -- have already signed up for next year's mystery BOM.

  46. It's a sunny, yet cold, day in H-town today. A bit of sleet on the way to work, but it melted on my windshield. This weekend should be in the 70s as the wind changes and comes off the Gulf, but I doubt we've seen the last of northerly blasts of cold air just yet!

  130. After getting back from a week's vacation in sunny warm Arizona (mid-eighties), we are now plunged back into winter in Utah. Cool, sunny, but no snow. Is it sick and wrong that I am wishing for some snow??

  131. I just came in from shoveling about 10 inches of snow off the driveway, so winter yes, but wonderland may be too nice a term. I guess it could be worse though, where I live this is our first significant snow of the winter. I feel bad for all the people snowed under in the Northeast.

  141. I thought I lived in a Winter Wonderland - north Idaho, but it appears I am instead living as a Farm Girl (and yes, I'm vintage!). All of our snow is gone and it looks as though the crops will be bursting up through the soil at anytime. I know it is still February and who knows what is ahead.
