Best Delivery Ever!!!!

Okay, so I just about hugged the UPS guy :)  My advanced copy of Irish Chain Quilts: Contemporary Twists on a Classic Design has arrived!!!  It's funny how this whole process has seemed so surreal, like it is still a dream.  But holding the actual book in my hands, oh ya, so very real!!!  I just keep hugging it.  And yes, there might have been a few tears or joy involved ;)

And the arrival of my book helped me make a decision I had been stewing on.   You see, I finished up my big old stack of 4 Patches for the Go 4 It APQ Quilt Along ;)  But I was having a hard time deciding on which of the three designs I wanted to make.

I looked at the cover and bingo!!!  I figured I had so much fun with the Triple Scrappy Irish Chain Quilt from my bee mates, why not make a Single Scrappy Irish Chain Quilt.  A quick sketch up on EQ7 and it was instant 4 patch love!!!

So, my question to you now, would you like a tutorial for this??  I will be working on making the blocks over the next few weeks and can take a few pictures along the way if you like . . .

Have a Happy Quilting Day I know mine will continue to be an Over the Moon Happy Quilting kind of Day  ;)

  3. Yes! I would love a tute for it. These aren't your leaders and enders patches, are they? I have lots of scrap squares I've been wanting to do something with. This might be a fun way to use them, eh?
