Snapshots QAL - Put the Kettle On

It's month 3  of the Snapshots QAL and that means that there is a new block to work on!!!  This month is Put the Kettle On and it is oh so adorable!!!

This block brings back so many childhood memories spent with my Grandma.  She lived in Canada and so we only got to see her on summer vacation.  Each morning of our visit, she would put her kettle on the stove and make her, my twin sister, and I a steaming cup of Postum. (ours with lots of milk and sugar ;)   I still think of sitting her in kitchen soaking up all I could of Grandma whenever I have a cup :)
