Happy Quilting Hashtag Giveaway!!!!

Okay, so this is going to sound sort of silly, but a little while ago I realized that I sort of missed the bus on giving Happy Quilting a Hashtag.   I know right, I share all of these tutorials and patterns and projects, and while I have always given you the option to send me pics via email or flickr, I hadn't really got with the times and added a Hashtag.   So today . . . we are going to remedy that.  And I purposely waited until after Market so I could do a super special Hashtag Giveaway along with it!!!

So . . . let's get to the hashtag.   You know, it is harder to pick a hashtag than you realize.  At first I wanted it to be just happyquilting  but after looking it up, I found it is a pretty common hashtag.  So then I thought of just using my handle happyquiltingmc (which you can always still tag me at) , but I thought it would be a little funny if you wanted to tag me as well and then it would be repeating itself . . . (I know, I totally made this way harder than it needed to be.)  SO finally, I found just the right fit.  So, without further ado, the new Hashtag for Happy Quilting is . .  .

#happyquiltingwithmc

As in, you are all so super Happy Quilting With Melissa Corry ;)  Oh, I just love it!!!

So, now that Happy Quilting has a hashtag, let's all start using it!!!!!   You can use the #happyquiltingwithmc to share photos of your finished projects and/or the process that you are making using any of my Quilt Tutorials, Project Tutorials, Quilt A-Longs, Patterns, or Published Quilts (including from my book :)   And if you aren't sure of those, you can click on the tabs at the top of my blog to scroll through over 75 tutorials, 6 quilt-a-longs, 17 patterns, and lots of published quilts ;) It has just been so fun sharing 6 years worth of happy quilting goodness and now I want to see all of your creations that were inspired by happy quilting with me :)

And, to help add a little incentive to start tagging pics . .  . I have a special Happy Quilting Hashtag Giveaway!!!!  I tallied all the votes from Monday's post, (and thank you so much everyone for voting!!)  and the favorite bundle was . . .  Paintbox Basics by Elizabeth Hartman for Robert Kaufman!!!

Here's how to enter to win!!!  I kept the easy comment entry just in case you don't use social media, you still have a chance to win.   Which reminds me, if you don't use social media, I would still love to see your finished projects!!!  You can email me pics at happyquiltingmelissa@gmail.com  Okay, back to the giveaway now :)

ENTRY #1 - Simply leave a comment of any project you have made that you found here at Happy Quilting, or if you haven't made one, any project you would like to make ;)  (Again, you can scroll through the tabs at the top of the blog to see all of my tutorials, quilt-a-longs, patterns, and published works.)

ENTRY #2 - Which are Endless - Use the #happyquiltingwithmc Hashtag!!!  YOu can use new photos or old photos.    Simply add pics to your social media or scroll through your social media feed (facebook or instagram, is there another picture one I am missing?)  and show any quilts or projects that you have made that were inspired from Happy Quilting.  Add the #happyquiltingwithmc hashtag to the posts.  Simple as that!!!!

I am so excited to see all of your wonderful projects and am looking forward to doing fun posts in the future highlighting all of your wonderful happy quilting inspired creations!!!  This giveaway will remain open until May 1st when I will announce the winner.

Good Luck to you all and Happy Quilting (with mc)!!!!!
