Tree Lined Street Quilt

So you might recall from my previous Jolly Bar Book post, that I had also made up a second quilt top that just needed to be quilted and bound.   Well, I am excited to say that after the super amazing conclusion of the Summer Solstice Quilt Along yesterday, that I found myself with some "spare time" in the afternoon and I got my second Jolly Bar Book quilt all quilted up and bound and I just love it!!!  It is called Tree Lined Street and isn't it just so cute!!!

I just love how this fun design really lets each of the prints stand out!!!  And I was totally drawn in by that adorable 2" patchwork border.  I mean, it just doesn't get cuter than a patchwork border ;)   I used a The Treehouse Club Jolly Bar by Sweetwater and it is just the perfect neutral print that will work for a baby boy or girl quilt, depended on what is needed first ;)

Now this one had to wait a while to be quilted, but I have known the whole time how I wanted to quilt it.   I whipped out my ruler and alternated vertical and horizontal lines on the cute bars and then filled it in with some all over loop de loops.  Every time I get going on these little loopies I am reminded of just how much I love to quilt them.

And of course, the alternating lines gave the quilt top some amazing texture.  Doesn't that just look so cool in grids that just make those little bars pop!!!  And I loved the little arches around the border as well, so fun!!!

And now,  I have two fun Jolly Bar Book (Did I mention before how much I love this book!!!) baby quilts all ready for a special little arrival ;)   Eeekk, don't you just love making baby quilts!!!   They are just so fun to whip up and even more fun to give away ;)

Thanks for popping in today to share my Tree Lined Street Quilt Finish

I hope you have a very Happy Quilting Weekend!!!

Linking up to Amanda's, Myra's,  and Sarah's ;)
