ReplyDeleteI have followed them on all of the above: FB, Twitter, YouTube, Pinterest, newsletter, and I visited the shop. I think the idea of already-precut quilts, ready to sew is ingenious! Then again, I dread cutting. My problem is that I usually know what I want and nobody can read my mind to precut that particular quilt. :-)

ReplyDeleteMy favourite soup is my home made curried turkey/chicken soup. I start from scratch and make my own stock(broth) on one day then make the soup the next day. The house smells heavenly! I just finished making a big vat of potato & ham soup, again with home made stock and the house smells so good...een the teenager said it will be hard to wait till supper to eat it! I always pair my soup with these yummy cheese buns that they bake at our near by grocery store...heaven in a bowl!!

ReplyDeleteMy favorite is really good New England Clam Chowder, but I settle for my Taco Chicken Soup. Dump it all in my big crockpot for 6 hours, and I have quarts of soup for the freezer.
ReplyDeleteToday I made a pot of one of my favourites-- Dill Pickle! It's a Potato Soup made with some pickle juice and chopped pickles.
ReplyDeleteI keep a pot of soup in the fridge all through the winter for our lunches. So I have a few soups that are favorites. One of them is Ecuadorian Quinoa and Vegetable soup. It has lots of flavor and the quinoa is high in protein. I got it from food.com, but I made some changes by using 3 cans of chicken broth instead of 3 cups of water and then adding a little more of the spices, and less salt.
