  18. New with me? I'm starting to declutter several areas of my life now instead of waiting for the New Year. Ending this year on a good note and starting the new one

  22. Hmmm...new with me? I have a new hairstyle...that I don't like! I've learned to not engage in too much conversation with my hairstylist as she cuts more as we talk! My hair is now shorter than ever and I spent all summer growing it out!

  32. I just finished a table mat using the clothesline rope wrapped in scraps and sewn with a zig zag. This method has been around for a while but I have never tried it myself. It was so much fun!!

  63. well on June 15th I gashed my left leg really bad. I have been seeing a wound doctor weekly. What's New? this last Tuesday was my last office visit. woohoo. I still need to keep a Band-Aid with Neosporin on it and two compress tubes on that leg for a couple of more weeks. And I don't have to sit with my leg elevated anymore. :) :)

We moved from Colorado to Florida to live by the grandkids (one house between us)....pretty wonderful since our eldest son is in the Air Force and we've been waiting for them to decide where they would retire. This is it and we made the move with a lot of help from both sons!

  151. Not much new going on here. I do have some 6 week old kittens that were born to a feral mother cat that we started feeding about 2 months ago. Much to our surprise, the mother is letting us pet and hold the kittens. I'm looking for homes for them in a few weeks. :) They are soooo cute!

  166. I am sewing a sweet floral quilt that is intended to bring comfort to a friend recently diagnosed with lymphoma. It is also helping to reduce stress while my son is traveling out of the country and I am fretting over his safety. Quilting is such a blessing!

  172. I am working on final rehearsals for the Musical "Young Frankenstein" with the local community theater. Of course it has taken up my usual quilting time for a few weeks, but I am loving it. However, teaching this old body choreography has been interesting.
