  19. Happy New Years to you! Had crab cakes with noodles with real butter added to them along with parsley. Very good dinner. Watched a movie from 7 to 9 and then went to bed. Expected to wake up to midnight by neighbors shouting Happy New Year but it was so quiet and peaceful that I actually woke up at 12:30 A.M. and went back to sleep. Thank you for the chance to become a lucky winner of these lovely fat quarters. Since my birthday is next month, these will certainly make a pretty quilt for me.

  25. The Wild & Free Deal of today is SO CUTE! And I'm in the middle of using my first layer cake, and I'm loving it! So seeing the mystery subscriptions on GFQ of charm packs, jelly rolls and layer cakes makes me ssoooooooo tempted to sign up (sometime in the future when I actually have money). Maybe I'll ask for that next year for Christmas!

  35. My husband and I curled up in bed around 8:30 - he promptly fell asleep and I watched tv. At midnight I woke him up to say "Happy New Year" and he roused enough to say it back :-) We're party animals!

  59. We have a flaming ball (huge chicken wire ball stuffed with newspapers) drop for all our rural Maine neigbors at 5:00, eat some great snacks and then everyone is home by 8. I did manage to stay up until about 11:30, though.

  72. I love Green Fairies and in fact did an order with them yesterday to start the New Year off right!!! I just did sign up for their newsletter, I didn't realize they had one--so thanks!
    And I did stay up until about 12:30 am on New year's eve--at home alone--and from my 3rd floor bedroom here in Fl I can see across the river and there was beautiful firework displays and even right next to here--so I was entertained!!

  116. We watched the Sound of Music with the kids until 11:30, then watched the ball drop on tv. My little guy fell asleep around 10:30 but my tweens wanted to stay up and watch all the performers on tv so we made it until 1. So tired!

  127. My husband and I actually stayed up to greet the new year, which is unusual for us. However, I was sewing while he played on the xbox. We stopped about 5 til midnight gave each other a New Year's kiss and went to bed. Not so very exciting, but fitting for our lives right now.

  151. My sleep schedule is very messed up. I very rarely go to sleep before 4:00 am. On January 1, which was what New Year’s Eve turned into after midnight, I actually stayed awake until 7:00 am! I know, it makes no sense. I was reading, browsing the web - and my internet was REALLY slow, which might’ve has something to do with it - answering email, etc, and suddenly, I was exhausted! No wonder!
