ReplyDeleteMy favorite quilt to cuddle up with is actually a super-soft old bedspread that was falling apart that was my "blankie" and I cut it up into 10" squares to get rid of the paper-thin spots and the torn sports. Then I sewed them all together, backed it with an old wide-bale corduroy duvet cover cut to size, and it is now a gloriously worn, heavy, soft quilt. It's my new "old" blankie now. I love it!
