ReplyDeleteI have always wanted to try basket making. It would be so much fun to be able to go outside and collect vines or twigs to use to make baskets. I used to hear stories about people who lived in my area years ago who would make nice baskets out of alders. Then they would go around to people's houses and sell the baskets. I have a kit with instructions to make a small basket but I have not tried it yet (too busy quilting, I guess).

No idea why other than it's fascinating! I also always wanted to try making pottery. Woodworking is another but I'm not sure I'll ever get past quilting and knitting!
